Best RPG? Are we still talking about ME3? Maybe in a parallel universe.
Best female VA? Heck yes. I'll never forget Jennifer Hale's performance and how well it fit. (Lots of flexibility for appearance, but never wavering in the sound/credibility of a soldier that could get the job done.)
No Mark Meer for best male VA? What? Shameful. He was every bit as great as Hale (in different ways).

And you know what really gets me? The one award Mass Effect 3 deserved to win isn't given as an option: Best Original Music. What is up with that? I can't think of any other game that has had me in tears, floating in the sky, or throwing my arms in the air as we succeed in a given cinematic like the Mass Effect games -- I question how powerful the emotional deathgrip Mass Effect would have had without its terrific music.

Who cares if there went much RPG elements and bad ending.

Mass Effect 3 is still a very fun and great game with a intense story. I enjoyed Mass Effect 3. I really really want too see my favorite game win at least once or Mass Effect 4.

Best DLC Leviathan? Seriously? Wow, DLC must've REALLY sucked this year...

Best female VA? I can't stand femsheps voice, the most monotone voice I've ever heard that is constantly trying waaaay to hard to sound bada**...

Best RPG? ME3 is lucky to even be considered an RPG..

Best character Commander Shepard? Maybe in ME1 or ME2 but with all the auto-dialogue and lack of choice kinda takes away everything that made Commander Shepard such a great character. He is now just a generic bada** that every single video game has... nothing special..

Anyway, just my 2 cents... Mass Effect is still my favorite game series of all time, ME3 just really disapointed me and I can't see it winning any of those..

Also as already said.. VGA's are a joke anyway..

Jennifer Hale's voice is a amazing! But since it's your opinion I can't find a good argument to show reasons why her voice is amazing. <_<

Well, at least ME3 succeed in gaining the most disputable reputation (in the whole game history maybe).

(BTW, people screwed by the endings would probably just say "Screw ME3, the ending sucks. It deserves NONE of the awards." Or other complaints consist of unproductive words with no convincing points other than cliche, IMHO)

Holly ****balls at Shane Satterfield saying that indie/arcade games don't deserve to be nominated because they're shorter (urhm, 5 episodes of Walking Dead are longer than most modern shoorters...) not made by 200 people on a $50 million budget and don't have multiplayer. What. The. Hell.
I guess in his opinion Oscars should only nominate Transformers or Pirates of the Carribean for Best Picture

Only one I voted for ME3 was in voice-acting. Jennifer Hale did an absolutely stellar job.

For GOTY, I had to go with The Walking Dead. It was an experience like no other, and choice felt more real and meaningful.

The "year" for the GotY's runs from the day of the awards to the day of the awards. So everything from after the awards last year, till the awards this year is eligable. So that means the awesomeness that is Skyrim should probably win.

If ME3 gets GotY, there is zero justice in the world because other games deserve it a LOT more.

It was really lame, it made all the journey Desmond did during 5 games kinda useless.
But i guess all will depend on the next game to see if things really happened in the way they showed in AC3 or not.

I hope Max Payne 3 will win best original score, and maybe even best song. Well it deserves to anyway imo, but blacks ops 2 will probably win anyway, but you know how it is with these kind of things.

ME3 is game of the year. I'm not saying I think ME3 was a masterpiece or even close to that, but it was better than the other games this year. That's mostly their failure though. D3 failed to live up to the hype. XCOM failed to live up to the hype. Halo 4 failed to live up to the hype. I thought 2012 was going to be one of the best years in a while, but I was sorely mistaken.

Uhh...there's a Walking Dead video game in case you were unaware.  Was released in five "episodes" and was made by Telltale Games.  They are some amazing games.

Even though the VGAs are the largest joke in award show history, I have to stand by Mass Effect. It's a hell of a well made game, and at the end of the day, it deserves game of the year simply for taking the astronomically insane amount of hate. On its own forums! By its own fans!
