FF1, 4,5,6,7,9,10 and 12 i would say are better than ME3.

Especially Final Fantasy Tactics, one of the greatest and most mature rpgs out there.

Oh but, lol, i'm sorry. According to this list FFT doesn't deserve to be considered one of the best games of all time.

Well, I'm sure someone thinks so. Really, this thread demonstrates how overly dramatic some people can be. The list is pretty far from what I consider ideal, but then so are most of the games others have put out in its place. I wouldn't place every TES game above ME3, for example (maybe Skyrim and Morrowind). And overall I consider Diablo II and Baldur's Gate I to be some of the worst RPG experiences I've ever had, ME3's ending aside.

That's roughly 15,000 votes for Mass Effect 3. This game sold 4.2 million copies on all platforms as of recently. So 15,000 votes isn't saying much.

you could say that but it's much more convincing than all the polls on BSN.

Agreed.  I think their just picking what happened to be popular and popular = / = great.  I don't think I saw any of the Panzer Dragoon series (or any Saturn games for that matter)  and where is Suikoden?  ME3 is not meant for this list.  I'd personally put ME1 because it introduced the Mass Effect galaxy to us and ignihted the flame.

Whatever. Again, if Mass Effect 3 was on the list of worst games ever, it wouldn't suddenly make my opinion of it greater. And if it makes the list of best thing since sliced bread, then I won't feel terribly invalidated either. I will, at least though, admit to not thinking like most people.

What needs to be done is a boycott too ALL kinds of proffesional reviews.
They all suck, they play FOR money for god's sake, the excitement is gone, they rush the games, they overlook some serious oversights while their criminal attitude towards art makes games more idiotic and mainstream.
Devs seem to adapt in the reviews so their games can get better reviews.
While it is humble gamer that knows if a product is good.
Boycott all these god awful mags.
And what is "Time" anyway?

ME2 is only more popular among a good portion of the fan base, but for the general public ME3 seems to be a bit more popular (yeah, partly due to the ending controversy and for the fact that it was released for all platforms). 

I personally find ME2 way too overrated. I love it a lot but I find ME1 far superior despite its flaws and technical limits and I don't see why it's any better than ME3. I guess because it's the most soap operaish and the most action hero flick like and pays more attention to romances than the other two. Decisions do not matter so much more in it (suicide mission aside, but the whole game revolves around that mission... and it's self contained), nor the story is more interesting than in the other two games (actually it's the most filler like).

We all know how much Bioware likes to flex their E-peen with the amount of awards they've won, like they're overcompensating for something. I seriously don't need to hear Bioware and other source material mention that Mass Effect 3 is considered the 7th greatest game of all time.

Also, Mass Effect 3 gets on the list but Heavy Rain (or any Quantic Dream game) doesn't?

Not really. We're talking about a list where ME3 is currently listed to be better than games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Diablo 2 or Deus Ex. I've said this before and i'll say it again. It's obvious that a lot of people voting on this list are either very casual, young gamers, and people who don't play games.
