it would be surprising to see anyone surprised by this.
Nomination? No. Actually winning a lot? Yes.
The most lopsided poll I've ever made on BSN

This means very little considering the kind of people here on BSN.
.
ME2's was 2010 GOTY (a much more competitive year than 2012) and a lot of people here thought it was bad. A lot of the criticism for ME3 already existed for ME2.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Red Dead Redemption was 2010's GOTY...
In VGA, yes. I meant overall. ME2's got more GOTYs from major gaming sites. I had a link with the forum that had it all organized but it's somewhere else now.

I'm usually very critical of ME3 but even then my polls don't normally have that kind of large disparity.
ME2 was well received by fans from my recollection. Only a minority were upset that it was different than ME1.

If it won I'd be shocked TBH.

as a result, most of the "No" votes were probably raged induced, and thus should not be taken seriously

Well, ME3 already got dunked in the Golden Joystick Awards, what are the odds they'll win anywhere else?
Have you seen the nominees it's running against? I think it has a pretty good shot of winning GOTY at this point. If Halo 4 was on that list though it'd be all over for ME3.

Diablo 3 was complete crap.Mdoggy1214 wrote...
Why is Halo 4, Max Payne 3 or Diablo 3 not on that list?
You may have never played D1 or D2, but in D3 they took everything that was great about the franchise, everything that first spiked my interest back on my first PC back in 1997, out of it, turning it from Diablo into a generic top-down view RPG.

Lack of Halo 4 and Borderlands 2 makes this list invalid to me. If forced to choose one, I'd go with Dishonored.
Borderlands 2 was released almost a month before Dishonored.
