Yeah i guess youre right, HALO 4 definately has a innovative and unique story. Gameplay has evolved well over the years and this 4th instalment looks the best.

The best part about the Halo was the Arbiter, because he was the only character that had a personality and showed growth throughout the series.

No one liked him because he wasn't Master Chief, nor did they give a damn about how deep the Covenant were. So no, most Halo fans don't care about that, or they did and ****ed when his role was reduced in Halo 3. 

I am the biggest fan of the Arbiter in the world. I've always favored the Arbiter over Master Chief, but 343 really takes Master Chief's character to a whole other level.

Ever thought the reason no one messes with Halos gameplay is because its bloody fantastic, works and is actually one of the most unique mechanics amongst ALL of the ADS modern warfare shooters that are currently saturating the market? It still retains what makes it a good game, and doesn't fall for the trap of focusing so much on gameplay that the dev makes the plot an afterthought.

If 343 drastically changes the gameplay any further, Halo would be finished. It wouldn't be Halo. I have more respect for a dev that sticks to what their fans like and want more of rather than changing it for the sake of changing it. Thats why CoD always sells, thats why BF3 is widely regarded as being inferior to BF2, why Ubis TC trio aren't doing anywhere near as good as their predecessors, why fans are upset with AC3's combat simplification.

Gonna go and rage at Bohemia interactive because their mil-sims have stayed the same since the first OFP?

Don't fix what ain't broke. ME1s gameplay was broken in areas, so it was fixed in ME2, and then turned into a Gears of War clone in 3.

ME2's was 2010 GOTY (a much more competitive year than 2012) and a lot of people here thought it was bad. A lot of the criticism for ME3 already existed for ME2.

and i dont believe and rarely participate in any polls here on the BSN. They are usually created in a biased thread made by a individual that has stated a biased opinion. then they use the biased poll results to validate their bias.

Got any proof to back that claim up? Because I got several dev videos that say otherwise.

Gaming hit it's peak in '07. Think of all the great games that came out that year. Halo 3, Mass Effect, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare just to name a few. Every year since then the gaming world has been in a state of freefall save for a few gems like Mass Effect 2.
