Of all the great things about DD I think DA can use inspiration from, this isn't one of those features...

IMO of course.

I honestly don't think DA2's combat is that far off from DD. If DA3 pushed to a combat system similar to DD, I'd be a very happy person. That's where they could use inspiration from DD.

Lol no way would I want that romance system in DA3. I wouldn't want to give a bunch of pies to Sandal and then find out somewhere in the game that he was my LI just because I fed him too much haha.

Dragon's Dogma system was definitely horrible. But luckily I ended up with Julien, which was the one I wanted :D

Oh like you wouldn't be loading up Cullen with every pie in Orlais. Image IPB

 Well Cullen is a whole different story. I would feed him every pie I could find but I wouldn't want to get him fat either hehe :P

Just be sure to give him plenty of 'exercise' after and you'll be fine. Otherwise he'll start looking like a very tall Sandal.

Dragon's Dogma is interesting in that it's a Japanese developer attempting to make a 'Western style' RPG and you wonder at what design decisions are 'we wanted something different but didn't have the zots' and what decisions are cultural tone deafness.

Dragon's dogma has a romance system? hum....weird

Anyways, it's a japanese game so obviously you can romance an 8 year old, japan always caters to the lowest forms of humanity; aka the otaku market
