Same, might as well try it. I liked Mass Effect's for a few giggles.

The same reason I can go to the ice cream shop without knowing what flavor I'm going to get. Or I can go to a restaurant I've never been to before. Or I can see a movie because someone recommends it, even though I don't know what it's about.

The amount of information I need to make some decisions is quite low.

I know I like BioWare games. I know I'll buy this one. If I've already bought the game, it makes no sense to not try the MP.

There are, believe it or not, people who are anti-multiplayer ideological partisans.

Yes, pretty much.

I will most likely give it a chance, whatever form it takes. As Maria Caliban says, I paid for the game (or will pay, rather), so why not at least try and then make up my own mind. That said, if others don't want anything to do with it, that's their business. It's no skin off my nose.

I'm totally indifferent as to whether there's a multiplayer component in the game. I just don't usually play multiplayer games (limited internet connection and I don't like to play stuff competitively with strangers,) and really don't like the idea of being locked out of single player content because I don't play multiplayer.

And yeah yeah yeah, I know it was a small thing they locked you out of in Mass Effect 3 and that they patched that away with the Extended Cut DLC, I just thought it set a bad president.

Meh... I have no interest in MP for this franchise. I play an MMO: I can associate with my guildmates there, raid, do dungeons, chill out in chat channels, and whatever else. Dragon Age is a story-based game where I can (supposedly) take part in the story, influence NPCs, and shape events. That is ALL I am concerned with.

I played all of Neverwinter Nights, including all of its expansions and several campaigns developed by other people that I downloaded. I never once used MP for that series either. That should be a clear enough indication of where my interests lie.

[edit after reading some comments]
Keep in mind that this poll asks the respondent whether or not they will play the DA3 multiplayer. It does NOT ask if you think it should be included in the game as a feature.

I may give it one or two goes, but regardless of quality I will get bored of it quickly.

My main fear about multiplayer is that everyone will discover how truly awful I am as a player. There are aquite a lot of l33t players on BSN. I'll never be one of them.

Don't worry. This was my fear about ME3's multiplayer but then I found out that there are plenty of bad players out there. We are not alone.

I'll give the DA multiplayer a try but I doubt I'll stick with it. I had preconceptions about the multiplayer in ME3 but it ended up being surprisingly fun. Unfortunately, it got boring quite fast despite all those new maps and characters they kept adding. Bioware needs to offer something other than repetitive gameplay or I'll end up mostly ignoring the multiplayer aspects.

Yes, I will play it. Hopefully, though, it isn't the only reason I'm still playing the game after six months like in ME3's case.

Yes, I will try it out. Maybe I will enjoy it as much or more than I enjoy the ME3 multiplayer, maybe I won't, but I know I will give it a try no matter what.

Repetitive gameplay is a multiplayer aspect. Because there is no ending, to keep you playing, they have to make it repetitive and take you a long time to level up your character.

I would much rather play the single-player for the additional length and/or higher quality it would have if they do not invest time/resources into multiplayer. (I did play ME3 multiplayer for a bit, but it got boring relatively soon, and a more comprehensive/epic ending would have by far left a happier impression for me.)

Well I am not the greatest fan of ME3s multiplayer component. I like it enough its just the emphasis on it is too much. Honestly the multiplayer isn't that special. Its fighting wave after wave of enemies. Since I am paying for the whole game I will play the multiplayer as a curiosity. If I like it I will play here and there if not than I won't. Its optional after all.

Online multiplayer is boring for me. I don't find any entertainment in sitting there killing waves of enemies like in ME3 multiplayer and it would make even less sense in Dragon Age.
