Missing with Valiant? Meh, who cares?
Exactly. And it'll still headshot mooks, ED+headshot slightly higher level mooks, and dish out a constant stream of damage on bosses.

The real question should be...Valiant or BW?
The only possible reason I can see why you would ask such a question is if BW was I and Valiant X. In any other case, there's no real question to me :innocent:
Really? No recoil, super fast reloads. Good damage (not as high as BW, but not bad).
I have a BW I and a Valiant IV. I find them about on par on Plat.

Well, I don't own a valiant sadly, so I cannot really speak. I took a look at the stats, and it struck me that it has not much more than half the damage per shot of the BW.
But now that I think of it, I guess its weight makes up for it, on certain characters. Still, on an infiltrator I'd go BW unless the Valiant is really a higher level, I think. But again, I'll tell you my definite opinion when I get my hands on one

Cool, I'm definitely in! I might use a Turian soldier though!

We can be the trashy and average version of these 2:

If you buffed the Widow, how do you not encroach on the territory of the Javelin? Are you going to go back to release (where Widow was more powerful) and assume that more penetration and a fancy scope actually make up for the higher rarity and the trigger delay?

Widow is easier to level and to use than either the Black Widow or the Javelin. That is probably the bulk of the reasoning behind anyone choosing it over either of the other two.

Same here - Widow X and BW 1. I tend to use the Widow more because of that, although I don't use snipers that much anyway.Boceto wrote...
I actually prefer the Widow over the Black Widow, but that's probably because I've got the Widow X and the Black Widow at I...
Also, I loved the Widow in ME2 which makes me sometimes want to play with it in ME3.
This is made even worse by the fact that the Thermal Scope and SR Heavy Barrel makes the Widow into a "javelin-lite". There's no way to buff the Widow without strongly enroaching on the Jav.HolyAvenger wrote...

I agree with this. For a long time I didn't use the Jav thanks to the steeper learning curve.
