Nice effort on producing the video.    I just unlocked this character last night.   What is the weapon loadout in the gameplay video? Oh, I see you put it in the build video.  Wow, talking during a PC match.

So the Vorcha have Scottish roots? That explains their funny accent :D

I've specced him like yours except I took rank 4 duration in Subnet instead of rank 5 power damage in his passive (I use Incinerate first and foremost to set off fire explosions so a little extra power damage is not going to make a huge difference, and the extra hold duration is pretty good).

Unfortunately Subnet's cooldown is bugged so it doesn't work like I want it too. My Vorcha Engineer uses the Claymore and my plan was to trap the most dangerous enemy in his net, blast the other goons with Claymore and light them up with Incinerate before turning back to trapped enemy. IMO that's pretty much the only thing that sets him apart from his brothers - the ability to CC some enemies with his net (a "tactical" Vorcha if you like ;)
Hopefully BW will fix this next week so I can give this guy a proper go.

Cool video! Vorcha rambling is so sweet, who doesn't love these funny creatures. I AM ALIVE!!!!

In the gameplay, there is a moment where I use subnet at a target right infront of me.... subnet sticks to a wall...

They HAD families.

We disposed of them afterwards to put them out their misery.

Scottish? Where's the swearing and charging at the enemy with only a pointy object? A Scottish take would involve much more stabing.

Flamer is a much better power yes, but there wouldn't be enough of a difference between the soldier then; only incinerate instead of carnage.

!!!!

I'm pretty sure they said it would be addressed in this (coming) weeks balance changes
I'm anxious to give him a go with the buffed sub net as well.
The cooldown buff really helps offset some of the wonky stuff subnet does when you try to hit stuff with it.

and I only left those exclamation points cause getting the cursor somewhere specific with my phone is a pain in the ass

I love vorcha but I still can't stand to play him. I'm glad people are trying to find ways to make him viable, though. The net is so terrible that I think you're probably right that 3 ranks are the most it's worth.

Vorcha engineer should have been a vorcha infiltrator. Cloak, bloodlust, and who cares what the 3rd power is?

Out of all the suggestions for new infiltratros, the Vorcha infiltrator actually sounds quite good now that I think about it.

Nice guide and gameplay. Pretty crappy class though and the pre-buff powers screw it even more.

I can't understand them putting subnet on the class.

Its the most buffed power in the game, and even then it still doesn't hold a candle to other powers.

I put it down to the targetting of the power, rather than the actual power itself. If they made the projectile instant it would be a far better power.

The best way to use it effectively as far as I can tell is to cast it when enemies start / are in the middle of an animation. Against Cerb it's really good against Phantoms. Get close so they'll try their melee attack > cast = 100% guaranteed catch. Or force them to flip > cast = catch. And unlike Stasis it's moronic teammate prove b/c the net doesn't break before its duration runs out so you don't have to worry about someone shooting her with the Shuriken or something B)

I also found it very useful against Collectors. Abominations can't dodge so you'll always catch em and to me it looks like the Collector troopers & captains don't dodge often. I think my BatSen had a 70-80% chance to catch em while blind-firing. It's not that great against Reaper. Not sure about Geth, but who cares about those stunlock bastards anyway.

I would have liked replacing Incinerate with Ballistic Blades, seems a little more fitting for the hunter name.

True about the phantoms; and I 100% agree with the abominations, particularly of the possessed variety, its really easy to lock down what can otherwise be a dangerous unit if it gets too close.

Pretty cool guide. However, I prefer to put only 3 points in fitness and equip him with a light sniper rifle, like Kishock -when I host, that is, never <_<-, Indra or CSR, and play him like a petty hunter.

Prebuff submission net is a little bit lackluster , but vorcha's graciousness and mobility compensate any design error.
