Uh... no. Play the new endings again. Then tell me how it has been "confirmed" that the IT is, in fact, not a viable way to interpret the ending anymore.
uh maybe the fact that the final decision actually changes the freakin galaxy
and BW has had the chance to make IT come true with the EC and they didn't do it
grow up and quit living in denial because you didn't get your ULTIMATE PARAGON NO SACRIFICE ending

Woops! Wrong Forum!
The EC was just a very elaborate dream. The slideshow is a fallacy of Shepard's mind!

I can see why some like it, but I wouldn't expect any validation of IT from BW.

It's still a valid interpretation according to the bioware. Just like how they won't give a definite answer for shepard living or not. It's your interpretation. Speuclate.
well I have an interpretation that the entire saga is a drug-fueled hallucination of a monkey
my interpretation is just as valid as IT

Leviathan even completely explains how the entire ending can be an illusion, as Leviathan explains how they can take your memories and build illusions from them, and how Reapers have perfected this over countless cycles, so in other words, they can do it a zillion times better than the Leviathans. They even threw in a mind control scene that exactly parallels the first moment of the decision chamber.
The writing is all over the wall.
Like it or not, IT is here to stay.

You can interpret it however you want.
You shouldn't let other peoples interpretations get to you.
No matter what anyone says about how they view the endings...there is nothing that will change how I view them.
I don't care if people view it differently than I do...and I definitely would never get mad about it.
Telling people to "shut up" or "grow up" because they interpret it differently than you do is absolutely absurd.

Yes it is, I believe in a off shoot of the Intoxiation Theory personally, Basically that someone was intoxicated when they wrote this crap. Now the only way I could play through it is if I get myself hammered and don't think to hard. The ending is a never ending cycle of booze. Cycles were a theme (according to film hulk)! F*CKING SYMBOLISM!Yate wrote...

QFT. IT was never ruled out and it is still very much a valid, viable way to interpret the ending.
