Your thoughts on the N7 valkyrie?

dont even get me started on bosses, I pretty much relegated myself to killing mooks and then helping the team with the bosses when the low lvl stuff was dead. Pretty sure I could do better with just about any other AR except the avenger and vindicator.
So am I missing something? some other class combo that actually makes the gun worth using?

I prefer the gi-Valkyrie.

I don't care for burst fire weapons though, so I don't use it much.

Even in SP at level 10 it sucked.
That Mattoack walks all over it - and so does a Phaeston.

Needs a damage boost.
Anybody who says it needs a weight buff, no, the Valkyrie is supposed to be a heavy high damage weapon, not a light low-damage one. Screw off, because that's not how the valkyrie is in singleplayer.

This seems about right to me. After using my valkyrie 2, I'd guess that at X the valkyrie will be about as effective as the mattock X

It's like a Vindicator, except it doesn't suck.

I share this same exact thought. It's a buffed vindicator.
I used it with stability and AP mod on my engineer for the operation. I was surprised at how often a enemies head would just explode even though I wasn't really focusing on headshots. It makes me wonder how much potential it could have with a scope.
I don't care for burst fire weapons, either. Especially on an assualt rifle. Burst fire should be optional, fire in bursts to maintain accuracy, not a mandatory way to use a gun. Feels weird to me.
EDIT: Actually, thinking back on it, I forgot that my engineer was level 1 so I was playing bronze earlier. With that in mind, while I am still impressed with its effortless headshots, I cannot say the damage was decent. Indeed it might be, but I don't feel comfortable calling it good, damage wise, based on the experiece of a bronze game. I might try it later on silver and gold to see how it holds up.

the gun has very little recoil that I could notice. And yea almost any gun will be fine on bronze, anything over silver though and you will need III-IV consumables. I wouldnt even consider bringing this into plat. but yea even with lvl 3 consumables and on a good weapon class (Tsol, TGI) the valkyrie was hardly usable. Even the collector AR or Argus are better then this.

Ah really? INVADERONE used Valkyrie I on Platinum and he rocked.
And seriously, Argus and Collector AR are far worse, even at later levels.

Weapon was good at level I in sp, where in mp on the same difficulty level it sucks... I think they screwed with the damage. It really needs a damage buff.
