aim for the body mass, is climb up and hit the head.

That gun is good if you are fighting Ceberus in general, they have normal head that can be hit

Valkyrie is good though i like it, people are narrow minded down on the Harrier god mode that alternative that does not kill everything fast enough is single out.

I use Pheaston or M-13 Raptor on TGI.

Things it if you play Gold with 90 % of the weapons that are viable, on Platinum you need to mow down hordes of Scion and Preatorian then Harrier came in in handy.

well i did say in the original post I could score higher with about any other AR (except avenger and vindicator)

but yea guess i was expecting something along a UR (PPR, saber, harrier) then a uncomon quality weapon. maybe i just need to wait for some upgrades... think I was reading someone the valkyrie had one of the largest damage increases per upgrade of any AR.

I certainly think that bioware should buff it, preferably a weight decrease to 1.6-1.0, and damage +10%
Its a gun that I want to like and has an enjoyable feel to it but it just isn't good enough for a promo weapon.

Just got the Valkyrie today as well, and after a little experimentation, I'd take the Mattock X over the Valkyrie I. And it's much easier to get the Mattock to X then to even get the Valkyrie to II.

One of two option really. Buff the damage (preferred) or reduce the weight significantly to be used with other classes that are power users. As is the gun really doesn't have an identity.

I like the valkyrie even mine is only at one. Just can only do 1 game with it at a time before I got to the full auto. 

As for the vindicator, as many have some pretty high level rares and ur's it just can't stack up to the things like a saber or harrier.

I picked one up in the latest com pack. At level 1 it does too little damage and weighs too much to compete against the mattock X, let alone the harrier 1. It also has a moderate upward pull on it. It is manageable on non-turians even without a stability mod, but I don't like wrestling with my weapon for 11 rounds at a time.

The BIG plus to it though is its accuracy. That first round goes exactly where you want it to hit. That is what gives me hope for this gun. Maybe with a slight damage buff and into the 5+ range I would consider it over the mattock.

I feel as though Bioware screwed with my most favorite rifle in SP and turned into something that was only useful against mooks in MP. It takes quite a while to bring down bosses with this gun.

Bioware better give my girl's power back. They definitely need to close the large damage gap potential between levels I to X.

Just used the Valkyrie II on a TS with warp ammo III, assault rifle gear V and AR amp I in a gold match... Even with marksman this rifle is not good. The Phaeston X is better and even my Eagle IV is better than this so called 'high-powered rifle. Excellent accuracy and rate of damage'... It is pretty terrible and the worst N7 weapon... These weapons need to be better even at lower levels considering you need years to get them to level X.

Taking into account the fact that I have it only at lvl I, I like it. It is only a Silver gun for me atm, but I can see myself using it across the board when I get to about VI or VII.

Maybe Valkyrie X = Mattock X, but Valkyrie I <<<<<<< Mattock X.

L2Headshot. Valkyrie is good (just good, not awesome). Just Marksman changes almost nothing with that gun. Better try with adrenaline rush.

I got the 20 HS medal on Wave 3... I still think the Valkyrie is terrible. It is an N7 weapon... It should be special

It's not a bad weapon, I was able to finish it's challenge pretty fast, but I prefer single shot weapons like the Mattock or full auto like the Revenant to the burst fire.

Just got it last night. At I its not impressive...at all. Multiple burst to even take down a bronze trooper. Ich. Ill take the mattock over this any day.

Then again I hate burst rifles like argus, vindicator, etc.

I still don't have mine in MP, but I have my one in SP at level VII. Something tells me there's going to be a HUGE difference in power and feeling once I get it in a future challenge commendation pack. :/

its like any of the Promotional Weapons. Its a specialty version of a basic weapon. They are very good at X, but are almost never Great or Awesome in comparison to alot of the Ultra Rares.

Its a weapon that's reliable, but not remarkable.
