Has anyone ever actually gotten frustrated to the point where you use a disk as a frisbee?

No, because I don't have any ragequit issues and breaking a game would be like cutting a banknote of 50 euros in half.

One time..
I was playing Mario Party with some buddies...
And someone was trying to steal my star by using Boo...
And I was trying to tell them something before they stole it...
But they wouldn't listen...
And I got pissed....
So I threw the Gamecube controller...
And it busted my 42 inch LCD HD TV....

But I wasn't like..
Aiming for it...
I was actually aiming for the furniture it was sitting on...
But it sorta bounced up...

But it made my TV look like a rainbow of colors.
I had bought the TV on clearance though thus I wasn't too pissed...
To this day my friends poke fun at me about it.
It caused a few good laughs.
No regrets...
And the new TV I bought was way better...
I considered it an upgrade.

Mother f*cker shouldn't have stole my star though..

^That's what I meant with impulsiveness. Gawd, do we have the luxury to destroy our own property and just waste money better spent elsewhere.

No, even if I would be upset over a game I dont go around destroying it and other things, I have some self control.

Oh dammit! I forgot to say that I've already broken one column of my previous keyborads each (I think they happened after Fifa or something like that!)
The Enter button of my current keyboard doesn't sound great after knocking hard at it because of slow internet (caused 5 months ago).

It seems I need some dummy or puppy to punch!

The closest I've done to re-purposing bad gaming software/hardware was with my 2nd(and last) Red Ringed Xbox 360. I took a permanent marker and turned it into a gravestone.

Can't say I have. But there were one or two occasions where my tv played dodge ball with my controller back during the Xbox/PS2/Gamecube generation.

We're only human... well some of us are.
Don't turn this into a self control debate.
Share stories and have some laughs.

Life's too short to be uptight and self righteous.

The first and last time I got violent with a game is when I failed at Final Fantasy Tactics when I was a kid.

Pulled it out if the playstation and snapped the mofo in half. Felt very happy afterwards.

I threw my xbox controller hard against the floor when I finished ME3. The left joystick broke so I had to buy a new one.

Also, I kicked my last xbox when it got the red ring of death. I wasn't going to damage it any further than it already was.

After all that, I felt better :D

Yeah, but uncontrolled impulsiveness has the power to cause that short life to become even shorter.

Just shut up, if you have nothing nice to say. You're such a damn plague on this community. Can't you just sod off and make someone else's day worse? Or do you really have nothing better to do? You're a sad, sad person.

Edit: Don't mind her Heather, she's beneath you in every single way. ;)

Mario Party, mainly the first was pretty infamous for getting others tempers to flare up, (not including severely blistered palms from stick rotation mini games,) especially due to broken AI if you're playing alone or another player in a fortunate position (for them)

Yeah, I was guilty of thrown controllers around that time, as were my friends. Mario Party wasnt the only game either.I was less than a decade old back then though. Miraculously according to my memory we didn't break anything.

Couldn't think of doing it now. I even play some of the older MP's with those friends on occasion, and save for an occasional punch to the arm we're pretty chilled about it now. There was one time a few of them were drunk though that might have been on Smash Bros, and that was more entertaining than anything else.

OH NO WAIT! Yes I have. It was spiro the dragon one the PS1. I was a little kid and my memory card broke so i couldn't save. And I got so far in the game in one sitting but got game over. I got so mad that I bent the disc in two.

I have nothing to say to those who are attacking my friends for no good reason. Back to your hole, troll. :o

No, although I did get very angry when my xbox red ringed and then destroyed my first Assassin's Creed disk in the process, when I tried to remove it. I walked out and put my hand through the door panel, which got some rather nasty cuts and scratches on my hand. It was also the second xbox that red ringed, in a few months, so I was getting pissed.

No. I've broken one controller, and a GameBoy in a fit of rage, but that's it. I try to punch straight down at the floor if I'm really getting angry at a game. Keeps me from breaking anything.

I don't know why but my Xbox never RROD'd on me, and it's pretty old by now. Once or twice every half year or so I get the red rings, but it turns out to just be the power supply not being hooked up correctly, weirdly enough.

The disk tray however is another issue. I have to press eject about 4-10 times before it'll open itself.

I'm not sure exactly what game it was, but it's the only reason why I know what the vibrating mechanism in a controller looks like.

Good thing and good riddance they never came back in the sequels.
