Never actually. I've not broken anything in a fit of rage due to a game. But i've gotten really pissed a couple of times and i tend to only curse for myself and perhaps hit my desk.

Back in the day (mind you this was when i was a little kid) when i was obsessed with Pokemon Gold i threw my gameboy color.
You see after all that time i finally found Red and when i was about to win my gamenoy color died out and then i just threw it away. Somehow it still works though.

Never broke a disc out of anger.

When I was a kid though, I was prone to getting angry if a game was really giving me trouble -- be it a quest that was hard, or lagging a lot, or just extremely clunky controls, etc.

As a result, a few controllers were broken. Not immediately broken, but over time they ended up progressively getting worse.

Nowadays however, if a game pisses me off -- which is rare -- I won't break anything. I may start going "God damn WTF is wrong with this piece of **** game?!" but that's about it, and even then that's only when I'm really pissed off. I won't slam controllers or act like the child I used to be.

Usually though, I'll just listen to some music and chill out. Or go for a walk, watch TV/movies, etc. Anything to get my mind off of the game.

Then I go back and get angry again because it's at the same point I left it at. Repeat the process until I either move past the point in the game or my anger ends up killing me.

I've lost track of how many times I've died now...

is it even worth a reply? melrache is an overly sensitve person who loves to call people out when he feel's offended but refuses to exist in a universe where he might be in the wrong. best just to pretend he does not exist.

When something is going wrong, I react two ways, laugh and try again or turn the game off and try another day.

My SO had moments of throwing gamepads, hitting things, and since he mostly plays at weekends, I have weekends full of growling, moaning, cursing and ragequitting, since our computers and the console stand in the same room.
