Has anyone ever actually gotten frustrated to the point where you use a disk as a frisbee?

I did not throw my Mass Effect 3 disk.
I simply removed it from my drive and put it on my shelf. Where it sits with other crap games I have been gifted or wasted my time on. Like the Witcher 2.

Yes, sometimes, when I was younger, OP. Happened to me with some PS1 games and with Onimusha 3 (there was this hard boss fight. I was about to beat it, but I died. Then I threw the disc at the wall of my room).

Nowadays when I get very angry I prefer to bite my hand instead of destroying things inside my house :P

I flung Oblivion into my neighbors yard like a frisbee after I realized it was such a pos game.

I didn't break it, but I threw a game into the garbage can. Two Worlds. What an utter piece of dogcrap. I spent $1.99 on it used and thought I'd give it a try. Horrendously bad animations, ****** poor graphics, and the most atrocious voice acting I have ever heard on any video game. Ever. It's a shame, because the RPG mechanics seemed pretty robust. I heard massive improvements were made in the second, too, so props.

You should've superglued it to Fallout: 3 and Skyrim. Both those games sucked.

Didn't buy them.   I learned my lesson from Oblivion and what to expect from Bethesda in this day and age.  Posted Image

Sounds like a rather childish overly dramatic reaction to me.

No, I stop playing and come back after I'm not frustrated anymore like a reasonable individual.

Today marks the first time I actually destroyed a game. I threw it like a frisbee because it actually frustrated me that badly. It just kept spawning enemy after enemy for no apparent reason. On an obscure side quest, no less. It kept doing that spawning thing on almost every mission. I guess the people who made that game thought that is what constituted as difficulty. It was on normal. Putting 10 enemies in a small space, and then spawning 10 more enemies in that small space while the player is still fighting that enemy is just ridiculous. Thank goodness I only spent 10 dollars on it. I know it was a childish thing to do, but I just got caught in the heat of the moment.

Has this ever happened to any one else?

I had to review some shovelware Wii boxing title once. It's controls were so spotty that you had to resort to flailing your arms wildly to win simple bouts. After reviewing the game I threw the ****er into the trash. Frustrating piece of crap that it was.

I don't usually get mad at video games any more. (I don't play as much, and when i do, I figure it's just a game so I'm not going to stress myself out over it) but the other day I exploded at a game for the first time in many years. When I was playing Dragon's Dogma and doing one of those friggin escort quests (Selene's) she kept freaking dying because she goes right in front of you and just stands there like a moron, so I was just like "F*CK!!!!!!" and threw the controller. I think my reaction scared my mom lol.
