Yeah, Kai Leng was pretty much terrible. Massive plot armor in addition to Shep going full retard during their encounters. Then there's the e-mail he sends Shepard and the glorious "SHUT UP!!!111" comment. Also, why does he have the weird "nails" on his gloves? It's not like he's a kitty cat or something.
I cringe every time he's on screen. The only good thing about Kai Leng is the Renegade interrupt on Cronos Station.
