Okay, I am constantly reading forums of people saying I don't like this, don't add that, I will stop playing if you do this, you will loose custoemrs if you do that. So we all know that Dragon Age (like everything in life) can't please us all. Or can they?

We all want different things of course, we have our own ideas, impersonations, likes, dislikes, etc, etc. Well, instead of people begging Bioware not to do this or that, why not give ideas on how to please everyone? There is always a way around things, there's always a loopool.

For example, what I have said before is that I would love to see both my Warden and Champion come back in the third one. Play and work with them even. Not just talk to them. Others disagree. Which is fear enough, we all have our opinions. Well what if we can all get what we want more-or-less? This is just an idea, maybe to get around this situation you have to do a certain quest to "recruit" both your old characters. If you don't want to see them again then you don't have to do the quest. I believe this should also be a free quest not an added one you have to pay for.

Another situation. I've seen some people worry about the character Cullen joining you. Some don;t want to see him again. Again this can be solved easily just like in the previous games. In the other games you could easily tell them to simply to leave or not recruite them in the first place. This can happen again.

There where a couple more things I had in mind but have now forgotten them :pinched:. And yes, although there may be a couple that can't be solved, surely they ar eonly minor little things that we can all over look?

Is there anything else anyone thinks should have a way around it? Feel free to say if you have any ideas or worries ^_^

I had another idea about this actually. You know how some people
complain that they don't like the idea of their wardens coming back
because in their mind they have their own personalities? Well, there is a
way around that, it will just be more or even too much work for Bioware
sadly. Well like I said before, if our old Wardens can join us, if we
could control what they say then we can still keep their personalities
the same. So if someone had a joky Warden, nasty one etc, one can still
have that if one has the option to choose what they would like them to
say. Case solved. Some have said they don't like that in their minds
they have their own voices but short to hiring all the original voices
you can choose from in DAO, there's not really anything they can do
about that.

What you've suggested is the dreaded "toggle solution" -- essentially that any design issue can be solved by having the game accommodate both ways (and thus doing double the work) and allowing the player to choose which they prefer. Which is an idea that comes up on these forums in various configurations, but isn't usually very practical.

Insofar as followers go specifically, we'll always try to make them optional whenever we can-- DAO had 6 of 8 followers as optional and DA2 had 3 of 7 as optional. DA3 will likely be more like DAO in this respect, but we'll certainly see.
