You could have done a bit more research on the actual weapon.
That particular kind of sword had a very, very specialized role in the battlefield. It was used by a kind of soldier named "double pay" whose role was charging ahead of the pike formations, particularly in combat between Landskenecht and early Spanish "Tercios". They were supposed to chop down the spearheads of pikes allowing a more effective pikeman charge with less risks.
They were not ment to be used for fencing.
DA3 Weapons: Make them as BIG as you want!
