I recently finished reading 'The Silent Grove' and thought that Yavana would be an interesting witch of the wilds in DA3, I would really like to see her in the game. Anyone else have any specualtions?

Maybe they won't continue with what happened within the comics.

She's dead...
Maybe Flemeth teach her some tricks , and we will see her , who knows.
I'm not a big fan of resurrection ,so I hope we won't met her.

But I was very surprised that the legend of Flemeth and her many daughters was ,indeed , true.
So i wouldn't mind meeting another witch of the wilds

It seems survival of dragons may be important , so I think it's an issue we will have to deal with in a game .
The witches of the wilds are trying to protect them , I'm not sure they are something more than Flemeth 's minions though.
And if they're just tools , Morrigan already did the " I rebel " part.

Anyway , anything related to Flemeth is cool so....

Pretty sure she was collateral when Alistair committed character suicide.

Wait, I've only read about Silent Grove and not actually gotten a copy yet but what does Alistair do that's so bad? He kills a witch of the wilds (Like the Warden and Co.' haven't done that before with Flemeth) and he says he wants to remain the king (doesn't consider the crown isn't a burden to him anymore or something?)

That sounded more like... character development to me than suicide. Did I miss some kind of context? Was Yavana friendly and it more of a ruthless backstabbing type of death, or am I missing something else?

Maybe not her but it would be interesting to see another of Flemeth's daughters. In my head cannon my FWarden (who married Alistair and made him king) disappeared because she's off helping her hubby in his search for Maric with Isabela and Varric. I'd love to see some kind of tie in to Felmeth in DA3.

If we see her again, she should bump into Flemmeth then singing Defying Gravity together.

Maybe we will see Flemeth's Orlesian daughter, Celine?

Well, besides the Witch helping him before, and blaming her for Maric keeping a promise he had made to Flemeth, and not bothering to learn more about what she had meant by dragon´s blood being also the blood of the world, nothing to remark. I found stabbing Yavana something immature and spiteful from him, making her a scapegoat of his frustrations. Don´t think of it as character assassination as Alistair had some some of those traits in Origins when things didn´t go like he wished, but it was unexpected anyway.

Maybe Alistair killing Yavana was all apart of Flemeth's plan??

She seems to have prescience, so I wouldn´t put it past her.

Not if you killed or exiled him in the first game.

Witch of the Wilds can survive being killed, just ask Flemeth.

Don't panic, Gibb Shepard was merely inferring that Alistair stabbing Yavana was a departure from his personality and character type. He's still alive and kicking.

I think Flemeth is special in surviving the whole body killing thing and that only because of that amulethosamawhatchit Yavanna be dead.

I havent read it, but my understanding is it isnt cannon, so if in fact Yavanna exists in the DA3 universe, there's no reason for her to be dead. Allistair is more likely to be dead than Yavanna, certainly he died in a lot of playthroughs.

Perhaps Yavanna could appear, but only if Alistair died or didn't take the throne during DAO?

I don't personally think that Alistair killing Yavana was out of character. It's assumed he has a hardened personality (and he had no beef killing Flemeth- even though it was Morrigan's idea to begin with). He even says that "justice" is his purpose right before stabbing her. I think he'd have no problem killing her if he thought he was protecting Thedas from evil, Alistair has a very strong sense of duty.

Personally, I think that Yavana ending at Ali's sword is enough closure for me in regards to her character. I'm more curious about OGB.

I enjoyed her character. If she shows up again I dare say it'd be in the comics...though a cameo amongst other sisters would be awesome.
I'm hoping to see Titus unleash some magical hell on our heroes ( in the comic, after allistair catches up to him he ain't coming back) if only cause I wanted to see more in the second issue.
