 Just curious if any of you have a banner that, if you see a fellow player with it, you automatically assume they know what they're doing? 


Edit: Oh, and mine personally is Spectre Mastery or Collector Mastery.

If I ever see the one for Mass Effect Mastery.....but even Lone Wolf is kinda specific when you think about it

Lone Wolf... but only if they are using a Kroguard in the match. That's right. I said it...

Lone Wolf, sure Kroguard/Geth/Glacier is the easiest way, but you still need to be a competent player to pull it off. I guess Nomad as well since you need to play a lot of Gold and you can't play that much Gold without getting a little skill from it.

I am always impressed with the Lone Wolf banner ( cause I won't/can't solo gold ). Also, I don't know what most of the banners mean because I am not going after them. If I see a Nomad banner then I know that person has played a bunch of Gold matches ( that is the only banner that I have ).

Lone Wolf does impress me as I dont think i can ever do it. But it doesnt mean theyre gonna be any good in the particular match. I've seen a lot of Lone Wolves. some have been great, some terrible, in multiplayer matches

Why Glacier?  That map is the absolute worse map to me, it just becomes a mess as there's no room to move/run around.  I like Dagger and Giant for soloing myself.  Of all the maps, Glacier is my least favorite to play overall even in teams.

Enemy faction banners should be looked at with a grain of salt. You can grind those out in Bronze. It will take a while, but most challenges can actually be done in bronze. So... Any banner that can't be grinded in bronze would be my choice...

If it had "solo platinum" as a requirement - sure. But soloing gold? Yawn.

Anybody that has that banner is hard-core for sure.    I do have some friends who will zoom around the map ( even on Platinum ) to try to grab the last enemy, lol.

Lone wolf and I'm confident he'll be able to hold his own(or her) Nomad is pretty cool as well.

Because melee Kroguards excell in CQB maps, and melee Kroguards fighting Geth are practically unkillable.

Lone wolf is free with krogan + cyclonic IV

Nomad is achievable with chain gold wave 1

etc...

Even Mass Effect banner does not, it just mean you played a lot.

I think a lone wolf player is decent, but I'm better than most of them.

Maybe the one where you get the medal for surviving so many waves without a death? I don't really pay attention to them. I still don't have a banner, and the PUGs still suck.

None, it's more patience and dedication than skill involved as far as banners. Maybe the Lone Wolf banner though, although I don't see that one much.
