Now, THAT's surprising. To rack up the needed points and medals for that one, being a consistent bottom scorer seems like it would take longer than the challenges have been active to achieve.

Collector Banner seems to be quite reliable.

I`ve seen people with Nomad, Lone Wolf being somewhat not that good.

Nomad, Hardcore, Best of the Best. These are the only ones that (kind of) tell me that the player will not be completely worthless.

I was equally surprised. I was considering messaging him, but I decided against it because I didn't want to accuse him or make him feel like I was coming down on him. I messaged a person after a game once, to tell him he did a good job, and he told me that he's used to people messaging him telling him he's inadequate. Kind of makes me wonder how most players actually behave.

It was just abnormal because you have certain expectations when someone has it. And when they aren't really pulling their weight... well, maybe lag was an issue. I guess we'll never know.

I don't even have Spectre Mastery unlocked yet. But I'm at about 95%.

Squad Elite will become a lot more common as we get closer to more challenge weekends. Most people will do that in preference to 25 Platinum extractions.

It'd be nice to see a few banners require platinum play. Yes, there are ways to grind platinum, like hiding out in the box, but it is still fairly challenging. That way, you know the person wearing it has survived platinum.

Downside? People playing platinum who aren't skilled enough for platinum. I know my limitations, heh, and don't play with a group.

Council operative, that is the only banner that makes me think your a good player and I have not yet been disappointed and I also like people who use this banner because some of them play Asari characters exclusively .

None, really. I've learned not to assume. I used to think that a player with Lone Wolf was automatically competent, but 9/10 I top them in the scoreboard without even trying and I'm not that great of a player either.

I guess Nomad would be the closest to showing true skill.

Not until they add a "I solo'd Platinum with a level 1 Volus using only a Katana and no Consumables" Banner.

While I don't like to assume anything about a player's skill level (was once in a gold match with someone with over 14000 challenge points, and they were rubbish:blink:), these few require at least some level of competence to achieve.

None, seen every banner with a terrible player behind it. Used to think Lone wolf was going to have at least a semi decent player behind it, but nope.
