For some reason my main character now has an aura of blue smoke swirling around me wherever I go. I've tried unequiping everything to see if it is my gear, but that is not the case. I currently have Morrigan, Sten, and Zev in my squad so could that be it? Please let me know.

Wear a rubber, dude.

Seriously, you don't have a sustained ability or spell effect going?

Hmm, Morrigan glows blue if she's used Wintersbreath. And if one of the mages is an arcane warrior and has cleansing aura on there's a blue glow. You sure there's nothing like that happening?

I have seen this happen to me and it looks like the particle affects of a spell that doesn't ever wear off. For me when I see this I know to save and exit cause my game will be crashing soon. It has crashed everytime like clockwork.

Usually it's the Arcane Bolt casting effect getting stuck. A save and reload fixes it for me.

I think it was an effect stuck. It is now gone, thanks everyone!

Actually you are the Last Dragon and that was the power of the glow.

I hate those particle effects. I know what I have active, I don't need the character to magically glow when they have a stance active. At least it's much better than in many other games, where non-magical abilities and low-level subtle spells trash the screen with so much glitter you can't see the characters.

Still, there should be a switch to turn some of these things off. They trash the screenshots and many cinematics: I don't see "Momentum" and "Dueling" as necessary when bedding someone. "Pinpoint Strike", maybe...

Oh, come on. Momentum while bedding someone could be...erm...interesting :P

This blue glow particle effect happened to me in the end of the mage origin, and I couldn't just reload since it was cutscenes from there to Ostagar. Had a hard time taking Cailan seriously as I was chatting to him, glowing sparkly blue.

Spell might does it. An annoying persistant blue fog that makes me feel like I'm at a rave or something.

This is exactly what is happening to me in DA2. Right after completing Legacy.
