It is this planets slim luck that at least 1/3rd of our time we are not actively trying to make up more brutal ways to destroy it.

I am a natural insomniac. I have gotten half of what you guys got, but for most of this games lifecycle, I played when ordinary people would be sleeping, which was..... five hours a day.

I have no clue how someone could get to 400 hours.

Well during March, April, and Sep til now, I have been on a work term (engineering student). And since I don't have any school work or actual work to do, I've for ALOT of spare time, of which about 2/3 is spent on ME3 or BL2
And during my summer school term, I played a few hours on weekends when I had time.

Sacrificing sleep seems to be what most people do.

Sleeping is overrated.

Have been sleeping 4-5 hours average on weekdays since ME3 MP came out...

But think of all the speedruns you could fit in if you didn't sleep.

I'd rather think about how at my current pay rate, I would have banked over $7000 after taxes had I spent that time working. And I've only played 332 hours.

EDIT: math

Still working on my Associates degree right now in school, so it's a bunch of BS classes that I don't have to even attempt to pass, and currently unemployed because I'm on medical leave due to being in physical therapy after having a knee replacement, and simply not dating right now because I haven't found anyone who sparked my interest

I don't work hard for money. My money works hard for me. Meaning I have plenty of free time. Though I don't spend it all playing ME3.

Self employed. I play at lunch break and most evenings when I don't do sports, and when I'm back I play until 2am... I don't have 700+ hours, but I play other games too : yeah yeah there are other games besides ME3, like Skyrim and good old Borderlands 1. Oh, I don't buy many games a year too, so that helps.

edit @mendelevosa: you're a banking/stock market genius?

I got about 400 hours done.
Most of it has completely wrecked my school life.
Still got 2 resits to pass but am taking it easy due to needing some relaxation before my job training.

So yeah I took out the 400 hours by playing 2-3 hours when I should have been studying. My social life is also ragged leaving me time to play.

I have close to 970 hours logged. I have a full time job, am a (divorced) father of two children, have an active social life, a girlfriend and an active sex life that goes with that. I think for me the key has been that I don't live with my girlfriend so I do have time to myself when I want it, and I see my kids 40% of the time, and when I do see them, they also play ME3 with me.

I'm at 500 hours but yeah. Insomnia.

University, friends and my part time job the day and I play at night.

Technically I could hang out with some friends in bars at night, but spending 30 Euros per night, 3 nights per week would make my financiary situation go from mediocre to terribad. So ME3 it is. Saves me money lol.

Easy, play a couple of hours in the evening and 3-4 on the weekends. I don't watch TV and I watch very few movies. I used to play much more when I was still into MMO's, so actually it was a net break from gaming.

Not genius per say. I am a 19 year old part time college student who recently started taking classes on real estate and investing. I am also getting assistance from wealthy coaches and family members who are going for similar goals and are geting into creating businesses. So I still have much to learn, but I figured that by startng early, I will gain financial freedom and have an easy life soon. Though I have put enough money in investments to obtain a somewhat satisfactory passive income.:D

I dont think my gametime has been logged correctly because i played 6-14 hours a day from launch to july in addition to school, homework, my social life(1-2days a week), and 7-8 hours of sleep.

3 hours a day is hardly a big deal.

Take an average person, 8 hours for work, 8 hours for sleep, 8 hours for everything else. Considering that most don't even sleep 8 hours, let's say it's actually 10 hours for everything else. Dedicating 30% of that time to just one thing is hardly noteworthy, it still leaves you plenty of time to attend other duties.

And of course there are the weekends, where you have an extra 8 hours to fool around.

Bingo.

I sleep about 5-6 hours, my job is about 5 minutes from my house so including travel time, it's about 9 hours. Leaves me with 9-10 hours every working day. Weekends and holidays of course allows for more...
