I don't, I'd rather the series just dies here and now.

Unless either upcoming DLC, or the start of ME4 itself contains some massive retcons, removing a lot of the stupidity which ME3 brought, this isn't a universe I want to experience anymore.

That's it in a nutshell: the universe isn't in a state right now I want to explore, care about, or save.

Part of what made ME's 1 and 2 effective was their ability to create and show a universe which I wouldn't mind living in, and actually cared to save.  ME3 went out of its way to destroy said universe.

Unless someone at Bioware decides to save it: the universe I fell in love with is dead, and it isn't coming back just because they slap a "5 years later" over the first scene of the game or something.

Likewise: the game itself isn't one I'd care to play: not if it follows the way ME3 went.  See: focus on shooting over story or other aspects.

What is in your mind the core gameplay element of the ME series?  Because it isn't the shooting: yes you do a lot of it, but it isn't what held the whole thing togeather.  What did: was the dialogue wheel.  You know:

                                                              Paragon dialogue
Gather information over here     O             Neutral dialogue
                                                               Renegade dialogue

And yet: ME3 neglected that element in a way 1 or 2 never did.

If they add in any more shooter, and remove any more RPG, it won't even vageuly resemble the first game which got me interested in the first place.

But: it will arrive as inevitably as the tides, know why?  Because EA is publishing it.  EA won't rest until every penny is rung out of Bioware's IPs, then it will absorb the lifeless shell that remains and use it to make commander bland's monotonous adventure 38.

This is a very clumsy complaint. It should have been obvious that the Reaper invasion would destroy much of the galaxy right from the beginning. That's a very foolish thing to blame ME 3 for.

I'd be concerned for your mental health if you did, considering your crusade against the universe now.

It has little to do with physical destruction: it has more to do with the tone they took with the entire universe.  See the sudden emergence of outright pseudoscience, the abbandoning of detail-based explanations, the hollywoodization, the ghost boy... the ghost boy...

Give them a chance. They screwed up twice in ME3 and DA II now, but both games had parts in them that give me hope for the future. TES managed to get over Oblivion, too.

I cannot imagine how Bioware are going to continue it and have it make any sense really, but they've been throwing sense out of the window for awhile now. Hopefully they think 'small' instead of 'big'.

i have said this before.

But if you do not want future ME games, and you no longer enjoy any Mass Effect games log off, go to the store, purchase a game you will enjoy, and go to their forums.

Bioware is a multi-million dollar company, and their games will continue to sell simply because they are still a major developer, and their games are still considered AAA Titles.

people coming on these forums saying "I am not happy, unless they change everything I am done" will not move them, as for every person who says this there are several dozens who will continue to purchase and enjoy the franchise.

They've had their chance: instead of fixing what people told them was wrong, they double-downed on the stupidity.  I have given all the rope I will ever give at this point.  It's up to them to win me back now.

I think Skyrim was a big letdown from Fallout 3...and maybe even Oblivion.

I know I watched the trailer for Skyrim everyday during the month before it came out. And I haven't even finished it halfway.

So you're amongst those who simply say the following: "accept the **** sandwitch, because **** sandwitch is all you'll get".

No, that means being complacent with things as they are, and I for one won't be that way.  If companies do things which are abhorent, then they should pay for that, that is how capitalism is supposed to work.

companies do not go out of their way to "win back" an Indivudual, or small section of their customers.

They are a multi-million dollar company, with millions of fans. a few losts fans mean nothing to them.

Its called the Video Game Industry, for a reason. you do not make money trying to appeal to consumers who did not enjoy your product.

And before you say "lots of people think its bad", if that was true Leviathan would not have sold nearly as well

Nor have I: SKyrim somehow managed to make the most awful and unbalanced combat system in the world of RPGs.

Bioware games are not mainstream. Nobody outside of the rpg gamer community even knows what ME is. Stop deluding yourself. ME3 sold about the same as ME2 actually a little less. While Skyrim sold nearly four times as much at full price.

Being done with EAWare, or not enjoying their products, - is completely unrelated to leaving their forums.
You know, forums is a form of entertainment.
Also, don't worry, most part of former Bioware's fanbase already left these forums. For EAWare, it is an achievement, of sorts :police:

they are still selling tons of copies and DLC.

If you think you are gonna make them change things simply by posting threads like this, you obviously should go take a course on Business Ethics.

all you are infact doing by posting threads like this is making you sound rather Immature and young.

That, is some grade A Bull ****.

Because companies CAN get away with things, doesn't give them the right to.

"Levuiathan sold well" is an illegitimate argument: since noone knows that, and if it did, there were a lot of copies sold on hopes of information or changes to the ending, which didn't come.

Saying "reviewers liked it" is also idiotic: since their opinions are as subjective as anyone elses and the fact that they get more eyeballs looking at them doesn't make them more legitimate.

Broadening appeal inevitably means that something has to become more generic: that is a simple fact.

Bioware started out with the goal to make money so they could make games, not to make games so they could make money.

Skyrim still blows ME3 out of the water in terms of role playing though. You can join numerous factions, oppose other factions. You have choices that can make a visible difference in the world you live in. And if it struck your fancy you can burn the world down and kill every livng thing in sight.

And I like its combat better than any non shooter game ive played.

Skyrim is the pinnacle of Bethesda gameplay. Oblivion was the horrible one. Your character actually got weaker as you leveled if you were a warrior while mages were massively OP. Skyrim actually returned to proper class balance which upset casters.

So: "you don't know what you're talking about, you8're entitled, so shut up!"

Wow that is a strong argument... no.

For your information: I am in university, not highschool.

Expression of opinion is perfectly legitimate, and you not liking what I have to say doesn't mean I have any weight placed upon me to shut up.  Just as "freedom of religion" does not mean "all religions must be given respect at all times".
