As in threads topic.

I like the gun's design very much, but it isn't my favorite shotgun, if you know what I mean.

I'll be doing Council Operative challenge in future, and it means either 200 waves with another council character, or 200k with Disciple. So, Disciple it is.

In my opinion, 200 waves with a decent character would be far preferable to trying to get 200k with the Disciple.

GI + VI gear + VI amp = Headshots galore.
GI + Shotgun gear + Shotty amp = Bodyshot galore.

I did it like that.

Batarian Soldier.

No, really. It syncs incredibly well with ballistic blades.

I did it with the Turian Sentinel (on Bronze.. :? Would never bring it to a Gold game unless it was strictly for the Omni-Blade)

Hate to break it to you, but even at level X it's not a great gun. The best thing it has going for it is that it's light (staggering enemies is ok too). Throw on your best gear and mods and grind it out.

As far as classes go, I suppose your best bet would be to put it on an infiltrator so you could get a damage boost out of tac cloak. Perhaps there are better options but I can't think of any offhand.

I would probably use a council infiltrator specced for cloak damage

The standard improve-a-weapon classes. TSol, HSol, Destroyer.

That actually sounds good, and not as silly as a four-eyed space slaver wielding a white toy (which design, I repeat, I really like)

I remember using quick but tanky classes like batarians or kroguns - mainly vanguard so you can charge straight into enemies and shoot them with the disciple and then charge to get shields and repeat until you get sick.

I used the +25% dmg mod and either the smart choke or the more ammo one & the berserker gear.

I don't always use the Asariguard, but when I do it's BC > Shotgun > repeat. Oh, and cluster nade for those OH **** moments.;)

QFI specced with backfire on sabotage. Cloak, shoot once, sabotage. Try it out on some Bronze solos. Best way to grind out any crap weapons.

The hell I will solo Bronze. People need to witness my Disciple awesomeness on Gold!

Shield/health speced volus, spamming shield recharge makes you almost invincible so you can run around and gun anything down.

Here, here.
I was going to use it because it is a multi-banner weapon. I used it in one match and put it away.
I had more fun using the scimitar.
Perhaps the havok soldier, he's good with shotguns and isn't going to get pummled to crap sitting out in the open trying to kill stuff with the Disciple

For weapon itself, HVB, smart choke, barrage gear or stability amp, don't use the "aiming" function, but hip fire with the (  ) reticle and head shot everything like you are using an HP.  That's all you need for Bronze.  Above Bronze, add appropriate rail amp and ammo power.  Changes the nature of the gun.  Once I figured that out, it went from frustrating to fun.  So much so, that it was one of my first choices for round 2 of the shotgun challenge.

I think I've been using it with an Asari Vanguard - charge, shoot in face. Also very lore-friendly if you care about that sort of thing.
