There are two approaches: 1) use a weapon class and enjoy the huge buffs which make this terrible gun only kind of terrible. 2) use it with caster classes as something to do between cooldowns.

If you remember to do this--it can go by pretty quickly.

I top the scoreboard with it w/ Asari Valkyrie, so that IMO.
And like so many trolls and idiots, your opinion means jack s******! OP, do yourself a favor and skip this one. You'll have alot more and better time with something like an evisarator and as much as I hate this gun, the crusader is a better choice.
A gun that can't even do what it promises should ethier be retooled or taken out of the list entirly.

I think you may have mistaken Shotgun Mastery with Council operative ;-)
Anyway, thanks for all the responses, I didn't expect that many,

I'd still say to skip it... 200,000 points is a huge ****ing requirement, and you have to be borderline useless in a LOT of matches to get there. I truly think I'd have more fun just playing as decent classes for 20 games.stysiaq wrote...

Play on silver vs Cerberus, kill every infantry unit with Cloak > Sabotage > shot.

HVB, Ammo and Smart Choke help a lot to raise its damage output.
In one match you can get 20% easyly.

The thing is, the Disciple is one of multi-challenges...skip ding this for council operative means you HAVE to do one more shotgun for the street sweeper banner...
You kill two birds with one stone with this weapon...

Yeah, I did the Street Sweeper without the Disciple and before Raider was availble for the challenge. I used Scimitar, never again.
And I doubt my Asariguard will be very useless in my hands with a Disciple shot between Lift Nade explosions.

Shadow Strike something, if they live hit it with a shot from the Disciple. This is completely and totally gold viable.

Granted, I did it with a Disciple II. The stains will never come out.

Banner was still worth it.

This is silly. With the right setup you're looking at 5 games max on Silver to get to 200k damage, and it's not exactly painful either. Turian soldier, HVB, smart choke, using Marksmen. Aim for the head (you'll get headshots easily at mid range with Marksmen). I actually found it quite fun, and I was topping the leaderboard on Silver. The RoF, headshot damage, and accuracy bonuses from Marksmen are key, but the low weight means very quick cooldowns.

Oh, and do this on BRONZE. Some weapons simply work much better on Bronze, especially Disciple and Phaeston. They are hurt pretty bad by armorgating at levels above Silver. (They're only mediocre on Silver).
It seems weird, but weapons don't scale the same between difficultylevels. It's high ROF makes the Phaeston one of the best ARs on Bronze, but the damage per bullet takes too much of a hit on the higher levels to remain as good.

Basicly, it just have no spread at all, with almost crusader accuracy, but it dont have a any delay lag.
