There are rep approaches: 1) use a weapon class and enjoy the huge buffs which make this terrible gun only kind of terrible. 2) use it with caster classes as something to do between cooldowns.

I top the scoreboard with it w/ Asari Valkyrie, so that IMO.

Grind with it, or play the waves with a better weapon (of which there are many) on one of the selected characters. If you choose to grind with the Disciple, use powers to nearly kill off targets and use the Disciple to finish them off.

If you remember to do this--it can go by pretty quickly.

I think I coupled this with the asari when working on Council Operative, also used the Acolyte around the same time. Make sure you're increasing your shotgun damage as much as possible with gear items and mods and if you can manage it soloing might be your best option to get the maximum points possible in a speedy manner.

I used turian havoc maxed out cryo blast and stim packs. Silver reapers can one shot kill marauders with a cryo blast and 1 disciple shot. Not the most amazing gun but it sure was less frustrating than the avenger, geth pulse rifle, scimitar and geth plasma smg.

And like so many trolls and idiots, your opinion means jack s******! OP, do yourself a favor and skip this one. You'll have alot more and better time with something like an evisarator and as much as I hate this gun, the crusader is a better choice.

A gun that can't even do what it promises should ethier be retooled or taken out of the list entirly.

I think you may have mistaken Shotgun Mastery with Council operative ;-)

Anyway, thanks for all the responses, I didn't expect that many,

I'd still say to skip it... 200,000 points is a huge ****ing requirement, and you have to be borderline useless in a LOT of matches to get there. I truly think I'd have more fun just playing as decent classes for 20 games.

Vorcha on bronze any map any faction. Solo. Very hard to go down, and can one-shot if you aim for the head. Solo cuz otherwise you'll find teammates have killed three times as much as you. I think this took me two and a half games to finish. I guess kroguard would work, too, but then BC steals too many kills.

QFI with full Power damage, Backfire, Tech Vulnerability and full damage TC.

Play on silver vs Cerberus, kill every infantry unit with Cloak > Sabotage > shot.

It really does not take that long, just use it a lot i.e. use it with a weapon based soldier and not with a caster.
HVB, Ammo and Smart Choke help a lot to raise its damage output.
In one match you can get 20% easyly.

The thing is, the Disciple is one of multi-challenges...skip ding this for council operative means you HAVE to do one more shotgun for the street sweeper banner...

You kill two birds with one stone with this weapon...

Yeah, I did the Street Sweeper without the Disciple and before Raider was availble for the challenge. I used Scimitar, never again.
And I doubt my Asariguard will be very useless in my hands with a Disciple shot between Lift Nade explosions.

N7 Shadow.

Shadow Strike something, if they live hit it with a shot from the Disciple. This is completely and totally gold viable.

I did it on my Turian marksman.

Granted, I did it with a Disciple II. The stains will never come out.

...

Banner was still worth it.

Human Soldier with adrenaline mod speced for max damage. Solo bronze. Use some level 2 consumables (ap rounds , rail amp). This is how I did my predator challenge. It should take you max 3 (140k) - 5 (200k) games.

Using a Turian Sentinel on Silver got it done in about 3-4 games. Spamming Overload and Disciple w/Disruptor Ammo is very effective. It also pisses off pugs when you double their score using a Disciple.

This is silly.  With the right setup you're looking at 5 games max on Silver to get to 200k damage, and it's not exactly painful either.  Turian soldier, HVB, smart choke, using Marksmen.  Aim for the head (you'll get headshots easily at mid range with Marksmen).  I actually found it quite fun, and I was topping the leaderboard on Silver.  The RoF, headshot damage, and accuracy bonuses from Marksmen are key, but the low weight means very quick cooldowns.

Disciple meshes best with Asari Vanguard and Asari Justicar. I cleared the Disciple challenge using it on the Justicar long before I cleared the Justicar challenge. Though Vanguard works even better.

Oh, and do this on BRONZE. Some weapons simply work much better on Bronze, especially Disciple and Phaeston. They are hurt pretty bad by armorgating at levels above Silver. (They're only mediocre on Silver).

It seems weird, but weapons don't scale the same between difficultylevels. It's high ROF makes the Phaeston one of the best ARs on Bronze, but the damage per bullet takes too much of a hit on the higher levels to remain as good.

Well, I just had a Gold game with Trooper/Disciple. Topped the board with 84k, but I won't say I was having a blast. Moved the challenge by about 50k points.

Deciple+choke+marksman = asari pulse cannon.

Basicly, it just have no spread at all, with almost crusader accuracy, but it dont have a any delay lag.
