yeah man, Jennifer Hale is awesome.  I just think Meer deserves some respect too.  It's like he takes some lines off, but overall hes really solid.  Both are great tho, especially in comparison to some other games.

Very much agreed - we were lucky to have two such strong leads.

Voted for Mass Effect where applicable,

Same here. Best game I've played this year. DayZ for AmraII comes second on my list, but being a mod, I can't vote for it anywhere.

I agree OP, I think it's possible to look past the controversy and vote for ME3 because in my opinion, it is an extremely solid game, and I don't think I will ever enjoy a game quite as much. However, as my love for the game is positively affected by my interpretation of the endings and my optimistic expectations from Bioware in the months to come, I can see why people who saw the endings as bad writing and have consequently picked up on all the other "flaws" within the game, will have a hard time making the same decision as you and I. Before anyone says it I realise this is probably a gross generalisation, but in light of what I have seen on the BSN, an arguably accurate one B)

I voted for Jen Hale and that's the only vote anything Mass Effect 3 orientated got. And it was a hard choice because both Cortana and Clementine were very well done voices. So well done Jen Hale.

You mean the turgid entity which enacted a real-world tea-bagging?

Oh yes: a very fitting place for one of the worst pieces of writing ever produced.

Jen Hale all the way. Didn't see one for Keith David?
Other than that I voted for Torchlight II as I found it a real balm to my spirits after ME3 ending. And I just enjoyed the hell out of it!

ME3>Journey>AC3. (I've never played Walking Dead.)

Journey was a little gem, but it registers as a pyjak compared to the Reaper capital ship that is ME3. The fact that it got nominated is its own reward.

Sorry, but no-personality Connor constantly challenging Achilles reminded me of a whiny Anakin challenging Obi-Wan. That is NOT a good connection. I much preferred playing as Haytham. Also, without doing all the random gameplay, the main campaign only took me 11.5 hours to complete, and I'm just an average gamer. That is a significant step down from the individual games in the AC2 trio.

I didn't vote for anything ME3-related, not even for the female performance. Jennifer, I love ya, but you had some seriously stiff competition in that category (seriously, Cortana and Clementine were absolutely brilliant; if I could vote for all three, I would).

Personally I voted for The Walking Dead where applicable. That series has serious heart and guts, and Bioware could stand to learn some lessons from it.

Best character...Shepard.

You can fight like a Krogan, run like a lepard
but you'll never be better than commander Shepard... XD

Best RPG? - Okay the game had G, but where is the RP part?

Journey and TWD make the GOTY list, but Borderlands 2, Halo 4, and XCOM: Enemy Unknown don't even get honorary mentions?

I will take Halo 4/Borderlands 2/XCOM snubs if it takes VGAs to nominate non-AAA blockbusters. This is the first time they nominated indie/arcade games like Journey & The Walking Dead

There is a thread about VGA in general section of ME3 forums.

By the way, I already voted for ME3 in each category where it presents :)

I think we all knew about that way ahead of time.

Pretty much.
