no really, i like this idea, because it gives you a bigger picture because there could be simultanious happenings, like say you get the letter from above and you reply to say "investigate" but at the same time you might mention it to the knight-captain (or someone similar) that is in charge of your forces, to send backup - so for me something like that should go hand in hand with the ability to command an army and even send companions out on their own missions (like sending someone like Leliana/Cassandra + party (sending up to four companions with one of them in charge and being the player character if you are able to play the mission...and different happenings depending on the companion sent (say someone has no diplomatic skill, hence more fighting or sending an assassin and you get a poison/stealth-attack solution etc.) in your stead, while you tend to affairs elsewhere)
