Remember when Saren said "it's time for the final confrontation" and then Shepard said "no, we're on the same side" and then Saren shot himself in the head?
That came out of nowhere for me during my first play through. I did not expect to be able to talk my way out of that one.

I remember it very well. That's exactly what made Mass Effect so great. Then we get the Catalyst...uggghhhh. And that would have been ok if they gave us an IT DLC.
