Sophia's Body

I told Sophia I'd kill Avernus
Talked to Avernus and brought him back
Betrayed Sophia and killed her
Avernus instantly began the summoning ritual and when I coudl return to Sophia's study her body and armor were gone. I can loot her if I kill her the moment I meet her but is there any way to loot her after assisting Avernus?

this would be why. she doesn't die in her study if you bring Avernus to her, she dies next to the door to the ramparts

I do believe you don't need a helmet to get the bonus. I'll have to check.nokia2222 wrote...

Just checked. No, you do not need a helmet for the Warden Commnader's armor the get the bonus.

Nope. Wearing a helmet (or not)does not affect the bonus. At least not on the PS3.
Nor does it on the PC-version.
AFAIK only two of the better armours require the helm to complete the set:
Colossus and IIRC the armour of the dead legion with the helm called "duty".

Actually Effort, which matches with the "Duty" helm is a different set of armor then the Legion of the Dead Armor.
Duty? Where do you get that?
Have your Dog look for stuff in any of the Deep Road areas. (I've tried it in Caridin's Cross and Ortan Thaig myself.)

Not in my game. I always give it to Sten and let him equip another helm, like the one which gives +stamina.
The set-bonus is still active.
@Bathead
The "helm of duty" is part of an armour set, IIRC of the "Armour of the Dead" (thos dwarfen fighters of "The Legion of the Dead" wear it).
Perhaps it's called differently in the original version. I simply translated it's name
in my German localized version, where it is called "Pflicht" (=duty).

The helm 'Duty' is required for the Effort set, not the Legion of the Dead armor. While there is a legion helm, it is not required for the set bonus.
Right. My fault, just checked in my chest and saw it.

For some item sets, and in particular, the Warden Commander's armor, when you go to Camp, the set bonus icon "turns off". Just make a point of, after leaving Camp and arriving at the new location, open Inventory, and then unEquip/reEquip either the gloves or the boots. That _should_ reactivate the set bonus icon.nokia2222 wrote...

Wouldn't be a bad idea to make this SOP for every party member.
