Romanceable dwarves?

I'm just wondering if, since we've had mages, humans and elves as romanceable companions, if we could have romanceable dwarves?

Don`t take my word for it, though. I could be remembering it wrong.

I remember Gaider said he didn't find it appealing, but that was him personally. He's not the only one working on the game. Just the one considered to be the master of story and lore.
Why does it have to be appealing? Just wondering...
Edit:
I mean look at Garrus. People banged the hell out of that dude, and he looks kinda disturbing. And people had no idea how Tali looked, but they just decided that it didn't matter and went on with it anyway.
Then there was this guy designed to be appealing. Jacob was his name... you know the rest.

If that's the case, then I'm curious how they'd explain Merrill's inclusion as an LI.Rawgrim wrote...
I "think" Gaider said something about this in another thread some weeks back. Was something about how the dwarves looked. If they looked like "young humans", they wouldn`t include it.
Don`t take my word for it, though. I could be remembering it wrong.

Not that I'm exactly clamoring for a dwarf romance myself though.

I think it was that he didn't want to include it for the sake of some fetish, just as much as he doesn't want to do a Tal-Vashoth Kossith LI for the sake of some fetish.

But, you know, as for the romance part, eh. Dwarves are okay. I mean, I think I'd be more worried about them stabbing me in the back, depending on their caste.

They don't look like children. Potatoes, maybe, but I don't see anything childish about the beardless dorfs!

Not surprising. We're all willing to look past things to get what we want.

I guess so! I'm not very smart though, so I'm not sure of what you meant. I really haven't met any kid that looks like beardless Oghren or Duncan!

As much as I'd love to argue this to it's core. I can't anymore
