It they had full on nudity I'm pretty sure the game would be rated 'AO' (Adults Only)...and games with that rating aren't allowed to be sold in the US...which is the place that probably sold the most copies of ME3...

I'm baffled by your comment. Is there a person on the planet who doesn't already know what a heterosexual male or a homosexual female likes to look at? Did you think you were being informative somehow? Like nobody saw the billboards and the windows in Amsterdam and naked actresses in movies? Not to mention the prevalence of pornography aimed at the female-attracted. There's plenty of evidence to support a lack of awareness about people who'd like to see naked men, but the demand for naked women has never, ever, ever been in doubt.

No offense intended, but when a person expresses surprise at someone else's experiences which have been very different from their own, generally they are not looking for Captain Obvious to come swooping in and offer random opinions which blow absolutely no one's mind.

As for the reasoning behind censoring one thing but not another in-game, I have no idea. I think it's really just an added little detail, whereas I feel a flesh snorkel doesn't seem like a minor detail. You'd have that thing whipping around in combat and that typically is not a good idea if you want to keep it attached.
