I'd take this over Protheans.

Would make more sense than a Volus Vanguard, that's for sure.

I rather have more Cerberus playable Characters please.

Badassfully: Phantom/Centurion without a helmet :o I want to be one of those people who thinks their too badass to have a helmet.

Edit: (brain mode on: Human character without a helmet)

Human faces in ME series are mostly ugly and unnatural except for main characters, imo. Do you still want the helmetless human?

I take any excuse to have more Cerberus Playable characters. With or without helmets, I don't care.  And yes i am a fanboy of Cerberus.

Also Elcor playable characters will be nice. I do think that with An Elcor, a Ground pound ability would be a good iconic ability due to the Elcor massive strength.

Dafuq?

Dear God, your argument makes literally no sense. I... I can't even explain this, because I just know you wouldn't understand.

GOD

Edit: Okay, I'll try anyway. What I said was, Javik's constantly talking like he's alone in this universe, because as far as we know, he is. You're saying to put more Protheans in so he won't be alone. Problem is, he will still talk like he's alone in the universe, only now it will literally make no sense because he really isn't. And apparently, because I would play said Protheans if they were released, my logic (which has nothing to do with whether or not I would play them, by the way) makes no sense? Hey, I've got this great time share in Mexico I want to sell to you, how about it?

Alternatively, I've got another explanation why it isn't lore-friendly:

It just isn't. Deal.

Lets keep it that way.

So you're basically implying that no matter what gets added to SP, it is an infinite timeloop?

What if those Protheans were found AFTER the Reaper war?

Except that Volus aren't dead. And Volus don't have a character who would be ruined by it. And Volus add a unique gameplay aspect.

Her description of what happens when you shoot a Volus makes the lore aspect of Volus in MP a moot point.

"Up close, exploding rounds". And he was wearing absolutely no protection.

I don´t know who put the idea of cloning up but proud to be one of them, anyways I don´t see any reason to why not, this MP is meant for fun and not hardcore gaming, lore and all that stuff. So what if it might not be lore friendly, it would be so much fun let alone interesting, imagine the melee and heavy melee.

No offense, but if you don't see how adding protheans would be more far-fetched than adding collectors, then you probably haven't put much thought towards it. Collectors can be cloned at a whim on a mass production level by the reapers. Protheans, aside from Javik, are extinct.

MP is to some extent tied to lore, Bioware has said this many times. Even the volus were implemented in a way that payed attention to lore. People who say the lore doesn't matter for MP are basing said opinion off of nothing.

My 2¢

Why the f*ck do people have have to make a thread about protheans every day? Seriously use the search bar to find another thread and post in that.
Basically, no since bioware would have to change Javiks dialogue and stuff in SP so the story actually would make sense to whoever plays it, and bioware isn't going to do that. So your dreams are going to stay dreams.

Another example: Let's say there are now Protheans running around killing Reapers. One of these missions leads a four man half-Prothean, half-Asari team into Firebase Goddess on Thessia. They kill Reapers, when the mofuggin' stupid-ass Asari finally realize, "hey! We're fighting alongside our ancient gods, the Protheans!" Okay, so the Protheans make their speeches, blah blah blah, they all go home and have lunch.

Later, Shepard's team visits Thessia to get its hands on that Prothean VI or whatever, and he brings Javik with him on the mission. Remember that Asari that was all like "Oh man! You're a Prothean! How crazy is this, I'm being lectured by my race's god-like entity!" ... explain to me how this scene would make sense if the Asari had all seen Protheans before. This scene should literally make no sense in such a case.

Have we ever got an official confirmation on this? Seeing as it's probably that everyone ASSUMES Javik is the last one left, when there could be surviving Protheans somewhere.

It's not a matter of opinion. It's cold, hard facts that dictate that Protheans are literally impossible thanks to the current lore. If they decided to ret-con it? ... wow, that would like, literally destroy any sense of urgency the Reapers bring in tow with them (even though they're already not much of a threat: if you do the math, it would take them over a decade to wipe out all organic life. That's a long time.) because it's obvious they can't even do their job right. Javik was a miracle case, and he's only one guy that you had to pay $10 to save. You can't explain dozens of more survivors without making the Reapers look incompetent.
