So you're basically implying that no matter what gets added to SP, it is an infinite timeloop?

What if those Protheans were found AFTER the Reaper war?

by that point the galaxy is either screwed, destroyed, green or reaped.

This. Why would the Protheans fight a war, if we won the war?

Sup dawg! I heard you like war...

by that point the galaxy is either screwed, destroyed, green or reaped.

By the way, LOL

Another example: Let's say there are now Protheans running around killing Reapers. One of these missions leads a four man half-Prothean, half-Asari team into Firebase Goddess on Thessia. They kill Reapers, when the mofuggin' stupid-ass Asari finally realize, "hey! We're fighting alongside our ancient gods, the Protheans!" Okay, so the Protheans make their speeches, blah blah blah, they all go home and have lunch.

Later, Shepard's team visits Thessia to get its hands on that Prothean VI or whatever, and he brings Javik with him on the mission. Remember that Asari that was all like "Oh man! You're a Prothean! How crazy is this, I'm being lectured by my race's god-like entity!" ... explain to me how this scene would make sense if the Asari had all seen Protheans before. This scene should literally make no sense in such a case.

Again, you're implying that those Protheans were there before Shepard was on Thessia.

Your assumptions do not make the lore.

And you're assuming that there are more Prothean survivors.

See how easily that arm gets twisted?

Good news! Bioware has included an equally ridiculous and out of place race into multiplayer with four classes of volus. The prothean may indeed be included since the bar has been reset so low! If they are included, I will be lobbying for playable leviathans next!

And I'm assuming that there could be Prothean fighters on Thessia before Shepard's crew arrives.

You're not thinking your responses through very well.

Pretty much this.

Why not pull the Raloi and Yahg into the conflict too? Just say "Good news! Reapers are killing Raloi and Yahg even though they said they wouldn't, so they're helping with the war now! Yes!"

And I'm assuming you're devoid of all logic and reason, and can't take simple criticism from some lamers on the internet.

Now leave my forum. And give me your car keys.

And Hanar. I'm dying to see those two races playable in the Multiplayer.

Plus, plotwise, adding Protheans to the Multiplayer would make no sense since they're extinct (aside for Javik).

Seeing as you think you are the High Lord Lore Master of BioWare, and that you're pulling arguments out of your ass, I wouldn't call that criticism.

I would call that wasting your time.

Just saying, they're alive. It literally takes one statement in some war assets to include them without pissing off everyone who cares an inkling about everything the trilogy had to say about our forefathers.

Protheans would be a much greater ordeal. Not one I can see being worth it, honestly.

Leviathans outnumber the protheans currently by *AT LEAST* 3:1.  They should be added first due to being more numerous in the galaxy.

So I've been supplying evidence from the actual games on how this would be impossible, while you're sitting around saying "nope! I want Protheans, because it's still possible even after everything you said", and I'm the one pulling arguments out of my ass.

Also, I found your responses humorous. Why wouldn't I keep posting?

Adding Protheans is like suddenly having Jenkins and Nihlus appear as playable characters or squad members. Sure, we could come up with some contrived explanation about how they got there. Clones, didn't really die, identical twin brothers, masquerading AI constructs, yada yada yada. But without an actual in-game (and I mean single-player) explanation about why those dudes are suddenly alive again, it makes no sense.

No Protheans without a SP DLC explaining how they got there, and requisite changes in Javik's dialogue to reflect the fact that he is no longer alone.

"The last voice of the Protheans has spoken."

Lets keep it that way.

Very easily. No one cares if the Reapers suddenly attack them anyway, it's only a "great, playable Raloi!" opportunity. Protheans would destroy all sense of logic and reason.

I want Raloi, honestly. I think they'd be interesting. Same as Elcor, Yahg, etc. I'd, honestly, even play the Protheans if they were available, but I don't like the consequences it would have on Javik's character, and even though he's a jerkhole, I still respect him.

how about a character slot that allows us to customise (SP?) our appearence ?

(IE use the sp character builder to make our Human.. give him/her one of the outfits seen during me1-3.. then running around london being all human and awesome)

P.S. I let the Quarians die :o

This is my stance. If they're gonna be included, I at least want a well-written explanation in the form of DLC. No clones whatsoever, that's a cop-out. I want excellent writing, even better than that of Sovereign's "we are Reapers" exposition in ME1.

"Working". I guess that explains how only Javik survived in his colony, and only barely at that. Because they "work".

I'm dismissing this claim.
