There have been many examples of bravery, courage, and defiance to the Reaper threat these troubling months. From Commander Shepard's efforts to unite species, both organic and synthetic, across the galaxy in the face of concerted Reaper and Cerberus efforts to thwart this diplomacy, to previously unknown soldiers, mercenaries, and civilians stepping up and defending locations and supply lines vital to the war effort. Even organisations as previously self-interested as the Shadow Broker's agency have stepped in and gave their all for our mutual survival.

But one story of sheer audacity, skill, and unlikelihood has touched the hearts of many of us at Alliance Command. The story of a quadraplegic krogan (my medical sources inform me that, while unlikely, this isn't impossible) and his singlehanded defence of Menae at Firebase Condor. Krogan are known for their ability to run down enemy forces with their natural strength and sprinting speed. This krogan, undeterred by his reliance on artificial limbs, has secured our tactical position for the Battle of Palaven for some time to come.
