1. Excellent treatment of consumers (e.g. consumer friendly day one DLC model)
2. Lore consistency
3. Romance options free of fan pandering

1. Their sequels are different games, not simply the same game remade. ME2 was different to ME1, ME3 was different to ME2 and DA2 was different to Origins. People may **** and moan about it, but i like that they always experiment and never rest on their laurels.

2. Character interaction. They tend to do this better then anyone else in the racket.

3. Choices spanning multiple games. Sure, they don't make a massive difference but anyone expecting it to with that many variables spread across several games is kidding themself.

You don't know? If I'm not mistaken, it's the knife you pull out (generally in Dragon Age: Origins), to murder an NPC.

Is this really a good thing if quality suffers? So far BioWare's sequels scream "needed more time".

The dumbed down McRPGs that are ME2 and 3 scream "why aren't you playing Gears of War or Uncharted instead of this?".

Oh yeah...and the creativity of the art team with Tali's face. CDPR with The Witcher and BGS with The Elder Scrolls is ashamed...

^This. There was a great, epic game in Dragon Age 2. There just wasn't enough polishing done to get down to the epic experience that I wanted. My biggest gripe in regards to DA2 was not any of the changes they made to the combat or the art style, or the elves (okay, I did hate the new look elves).

It was how the game was rushed. DA2 could have been Legend-wait-for-it-dary, but we were robbed of that because of the short development cycle.

I always knew Tali was really a purple skinned Afghani with severed fingers.

I think it's worth it.

So far, the only BioWare sequel i would say has objective quality issues is DA2, and i still prefer DA2 to Origins.

Making the sequels different is extremely important to me, few things disgust me more then a company pumping out the same game and putting a different number at the end. Whatever people think of the direction BioWare games take, they have to admit the sequel is different to it's predecessor.

Even if they "admit" it by shouting "They changed it now it sucks!"

You know, whenever I see a post by you, with your BMW name and your GT-R sig, I have this feeling that you only come here to rub elbows with the great unwashed and laugh at us and try to troll us.

:D

I just figured it'd be funny to do something different since there were many people who used "ME3 N7 Collector's Edition Owner" or "Dragon Age 2 Signature Edition Owner" as their signatures.

The characters are still well written. The settings are slowly losing their details and rapidly losing their coherency(especially as you get closer to the final moments of each game), but they are still mostly good. I still like the music.

1. Same-Sex Romance (I wouldn't have even been aware of bioware had I not run into an article praising them for inclusivity. I started purchasing their products for this reason. I have also consciously NOT purchased products for being non-inclusive - such as Witcher 1 for being misogynist and FFXIV for intentionally deciding not to include SS Marriage).

2. Characters - I really love Isabela, Leliana, Liara, Kaidan, Bethany, and sometimes Alistair.

3. Soundtracks (sometimes)
