Beat Bronze on solo for the first time, then did it a second time immediately after, and I was feeling pretty good about myself. Decided to jump up to solo platinum to see what it was like - my first game EVER above Silver.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!

I'm used to fighting nothing but assault troopers in round one. Picture if you will my surprise when I heard two Atlas mechs clanking towards me. I got cornered by a Phantom about three minutes in, taken down by its hand cannon when I had just brought down its shields. Didn't bother burning a medigel. Died without a single kill.

Jrm and I were running some silvers with a friend of mine who just got ME3 on giant. we got a wave 10 retrieval. I decided to take the short way back to the LZ through 2 atlases and tons of assault troopers. Prompty died.

Jrm came to my rescue. prompty died. my friend prompty died. we burned 3 medigels each to get the package back to the LZ to complete the objective... where we prompty died and wiped.

I dont always play silver, but when I do, we get a wipe on wave 10.

Tried playing a volus mercenary on bronze. Died more times than I usually do with other characters on silver or even gold. :-o

Rolling into a charging brute. Pretty sure that's when the PUGs learned he had a sync-kill.

Human Male Vanguard when I want to feel bad about myself I just roll him out, spend most of the game picking him up!

I once played the brawler on gold, charged a dragoon, staggered him, proceeded to hatesurf in for the kill, got my hatesurf canceled by a ladder, climbed the ladder, met a phantom who wanted to stab someone, used an ops pack survive getting stabbed, got sync killed by the atlas next to the phantom, and then thrown off the map.


I'm not even angry at that.

went in to nuke a wave 8 spawn.
synckilled by the first banshee in sight.

And it happened twice in the same game.

had only a ravager left, so i thought. had the high ground and cover. already hit it with a proxy mine and a shotgun blast. he had two bars left. got nabbed by a banshee. yes, it was silver.

also, ps3, which means i can't turn off all the idiots who think they have something important to say that has nothing to do with the game. the singers and whistlers were great too. i don't play with sound, so many idiots have wasted their trolling breaths since the first month of release...

i open new char ex-cerberus - vanguard. log in to silver map, hit biotic charge, Mr. Geth turn back on me and insta kill me. I start laughed so hard that i must quit

I am pretty new to the game, so i think i shame myself everytime i play, but in that specific mission...
I was playing a Geth Engineer, it felt good, i was going better then usual, ever had that moments in which you seem to be the perfect player? Shoot kill, dodge, jump, turn, kill, woo hoo robotic Chuck Norris .
I am the last man standing, only two enemies left, hey i am having my best game ever so, no problems right?
Not really..
I see a granade came over me, i have only the last health bar full, i prepare to do my best combat roll out of danger... and don't know how, rolled directly over the granade.
I think is just cause the game don't allow further animations, otherwise i am sure i'd have seen my Geth hug the granade like a baby and cuddle it untill exploded. Mission Failed.
