This is where I'll put all my ideas from now on (or at least copies of them). It'll be updated over time as I think of more stuff; as always, comment and rate.

INDEX
  • Enemy, Reaper Gargoyle
THE REAPER GARGOYLE
The hulking amalgamation of turian, krogan and elcor DNA, the Reaper Gargoyle is a ferocious Reaper soldier capable of avoiding damage, taking it and dealing it all in an efficient fashion. Grafted into its arms are two highly-flexible cannons capable of firing a cluster of target-seeking missiles and in a completely automatic mode, two firing modes fitting certain situations better. Designed to deal with both vehicles and infantry from a medium to close range, the gargoyle is fortunately a most rare Reaper foot-soldier.

Being the fusion of turian and elcor tissue, the gargoyle is tactically suave, care-taking but still none the less monstrous opponent. Standing over four meters tall when fully erect, its appearance alone is enough to terrify soldiers. Its two highly-developed arms (a trait derived from its elcor tissue) end in multi-purpose cannons while its digitigrade legs (also an elcor trait) elevates its movement speed and jumping capability. It's angular, krogan-like face sports a pair of deep-set eyes, a turian nose and two horn-like spikes.

Defense wise, the gargoyle is quick, agile and is equipped with very high armor and very high shields. Though too big to take most cover, these creatures recognize the cover of avoiding fire and will do when confronted with heavy weaponry.

At a range, gargoyles typically rely on their machine guns to deal as much damage as possible and or suppress player characters for a fellow husk to flank; these machine guns fire very quickly but must cooldown if fired for too long. If an enemy tries to flee or traverse flat ground, a gargoyle can resort to its Seeker Missile Launchers, letting the seeker missiles do its work while it deals with other threats.

In melee combat, gargoyles can preform a variety of attacks. One of them is a simple punch to the ground which deals damage and staggers nearby enemies; the second attack is a chained line of punches used primarily against single (preferably fragile or slow) targets. The third attack is a form of charge move, with the gargoyle pursuing a single target for a short distance with a continuous chain of punches. The Gargoyle can also execute a variety of position-turning attacks to punish would-be flankers.

Gargoyles can also leap toward an enemy, slamming its cannon-arms into the ground upon impact, creating a small area of effect shockwave that damages and staggers anyone caught in the blast radius; players can plan for and avoid this attack if they notice it backing up for the leap. Gargoyles take a momentary pause after preforming this attack, leaving them vulnerable to counterattack. Lastly, gargoyles can grapple a single player and begin crushing him/her with a bear-hug; if the player doesn't escape the gargoyle's grasp, the gargoyle will crush him/her, putting him/her out of the fight.

I'm working on it. Besides, the gargoyle is mostly elcor over anything... just put those guys in for good measure.
