People are discussing unimportant and irrelevant issues such as the existence of the Maker already, when far more pressing and urgent issues are being ignored.

In DAO we saw cats aplenty in Denerim and scattered throughout the game. To the best of my knowledge, there were no cats in DA2.

One easy way to give DAI a leg up over DA2 is to see to it that there are cats. It's a proven scientific fact that cats make everything better. Our black cat Grace, has just given this post her paw of approval, so it's as plain as day that DAI needs cats.

This is an incredibly important question.

I would also like to suggest more than one texture for cats in DA3. Orange tabbies are cute, but calicos, blues, blacks, whites, and tortoiseshells all deserve representation.

Orlesians seem like cat-people to me. Hence the conflict with Fereldan.

I support this, as long as we also get an in-game codex detailing "101 Uses..." :-)

(We have two of the junior citizens, BTW. one of which hates DA2 because every time I try to play, she jumps on my lap, cries, and then sits in front of the monitor... true story).

Orlesians do love their cheeses, cheeses attract mice, therefore they do need cats. whole armies of them. It's only logical.

That his hardly surprising. They are protesting the lack of representation in the game. Two of my leige lords are especially persistent about registering their complaints, clawing the door to my cell (a designated feline-free area - allergies).

I started out typing something about resources and the in-game need for feline models, but I realized that >90% of the people who read it would not realize that I was joking.

I've already got two cats at home, but I'd certainly like to see some in DA3. ;-)

Henceforward, the above quote is to be refered to as "The Purrrrrfect Theorum."  Somebody start a group.

I used Science and factually determined that this question and the question of Mage Pants are the most pressing concerns among good looking and sexy people.  I hope these things are confirmed first on Info Drop Day 2013.

Lack of cats was the only legitimate shortcoming of DA2.

As long as there are still desire demons inflicting themselves upon Thedas, there will always be stupid little girls willing to play with them (remember Kitty?). Image IPB

But back on topic, I like how Assassin's Creed 3 used the "pet animal" tactic - with cats, they would weave through your legs. It was a simple tactic, but added to the experience.

Orlesians definitely seem the cat type. I would bet that they'd even dress them up, all pretty-like.

I would think a noble Persian cat would be more likely in a society like Orlais.

There were 4 cats having a swimming race. Three from Orlais and the fourth one from Fereldan. The Fereldan cat won, you know why?

Because un du trois cat sank.
