I can't seem to find this on Xbox.

It doesn't look like Xbox is getting it today. It should have been up 9 Hours ago.

It just appeared on the UK marketplace:

To be honest, I'd pay a € or two for DLC that allowed total control for helmets, armour colour schemes, lights and camo. Might sound pathetic but it's just so annoying.

No I would too.  I really, really want this.

And for whiners 'why Shep get's Cerb armor and fight with them' -> how many of you had Collector's armor in ME2? :P

Few because it was CE stuff, but everyone has it in ME3 and when you meet Javik in it, well, I say there should be some easter egg dialogue there :P

Quick question for those that have delved more into looking through ME3's game files that I have:
Would it be possible to do a simple file swap of the texture file for the Ajax armor with the texture file from the N7 Demolisher armor from MP? (aka, copy and rename the N7 Demolisher texture file with the same name as the texture file of the Ajax armor)

Granted, it's probably only work for female Shepards (since the Demolisher is female), but that'd be one way to get rid of the Cerberus color scheme of the Ajax.

With texmod this would be easy.  ME3 explorer might also do this; I am not familiar with swapping textures with that program.  As you noted though this would only work with  a female Shepard.

I'm going out on a limb here and say I actually like the Cerberus armor, just not the fact that helmets cannot be toggled off all the time.

Captured some video footage of all the outfits, including Shepard's. Watch it here:

Thx for the video! Much better seeing them in motion

EDIT: minus the boobs in EDI's outfit, it looks great, like a more proper combat android she's suppoused to be

You're welcome :).

BTW, can you ask GAF insiders if they have some new juicy scoop/leaks on Citadel DLC? :P

Nobody has leaked or knows anything yet. BioWare does like to run a tight ship. Best bet for leaks always seems to be data mining :P.

Not exactly, but assuming both models have the same UV mapping (I bet they do), it's possible to make a texmod or use one of these ME3 Explorer tools. But I dunno if my sight decieves me, Ajax seems to have a better diffuse map, larger than Demolisher (1024^2pixels).

I'm sure this thread will get you some answers, they already noticed that "issue".

EDIT: Well, scrap that, UV is different, texture is 1024^2 px xD

Still, it's completely possible to make a texmod with a recolor or at least to get rid of the cerberus symbols.

I think the armor is fine and all but why would shepard wear cerberus armor at this point?

It came free with the PS3 version. I never wore any of the armor sets because of the fixed helmets.

I'm confused by Bioware's decision to dip this armor in Cerberus colors.

I'm aggravated that the said armor had to be the N7 Demolisher, which was the one armor set I wanted the most.

Honestly, I could care less for the squad mate costumes but I would've gladly paid two bucks for the N7 or even the Alliance version of this armor.

I concur wholeheartedly.

They did give a 'little' bit of control of this. In the 'Narrative' options you can change shepards helm to toggle off in conversations or leave it at default. I could of swore on Sur'kesh I was even able to fully toggle my helmet off but I cant seem to replicate it again. You can also toggle squadmate helmets on and off this way.

I know some of you may be referring to toggling it off all the time but honestly, imo, it doesnt make sense to have no helmet on in combat. :P

I just asked Ryan Warden about the possibility of patching in the ability to remove Shepard's helmet from fixed armours, or the N7 armours from the Earth MP being made available in N7 colours as opposed to Cerberus.

Kinda sad they don't come up with that on their own. :P

I mean, is there really anyone who wants a permanent helmet?

They should at least put some Alliance simbol in that cerberus Ajax armor.Apart from that i really liked Edi's armor, much better than having her using Miranda's catsuit in combat.
Garrus looks like a turian version from the Terminus armor and Liara's is nice too.

i'm actually glad that the demolisher's armour is released to us (i always thought it was silly how James and Kaidan got armour like that and Shep didn't,) like many others i would or preferred an N7 or alliance variant (still hoping we get the Alliance soldier combat suit in the future.) but i can ignore the Cerberus stuff (and truthfully it looks better than the assault trooper armour that suit reminded me of the ODSTs from Halo.

Yeah. It's also so weird that they didn't add that option in ME3. It was one of the most whined features of ME2. ME1 had really handy helmet toggle but sadly it doesn't look like the want to add it. What's even more annoying that you can actually control whether or not squad mates have helmet on or off but with Shepard you can pick only conversations.

This made me lol!

Personally, the helmet issue doesn't bother me but I can understand why people are upset over it.

Patch this armor up and I'll gladly purchase it!

Well, the funny thing is that it's technically in there. I mean, we can choose to have the helmets off in dialogues (so it's possible after all) while only the squaddies get an option to have helmets off permanently (except for specific situations). That didn't make sense to make right from the start.

Just add a little simple option. Can't really be that difficult.

I concur wholeheartedly.

The thing is DLC armor tends to be single-piece, which makes it hard to add a helmet toggle option. Had they designed all armor pieces individually like the default N7 armor, this wouldn't have been so much of an issue.

I'd still love to have such an option, though.

Exactly. It would really be just as simple thing as adding third option to the helmet toggle thing that is already there. Logic is there and helmet is separate model. Me nou comprehend.

I dunno, but I couldn't stop hearing the "trololol" song when I saw the Cerberus logos on it.
