So today I finished another playthrough of Mass Effect 3 and on the Shepard I picked Destroy. The Epilogue rolled and I was pleased, but it was then I realized something, I had now picked Destroy on more Shepards than any other ending, even my favorite which is control.

I'm currently at 3 for control, 1 for Synthesis and now 4 for Destroy.

My integrity! Why?!? What's happening too me?!

I wouldn't complain, you're picking the best choice.

If I remember right, Destroy is the most popular of the choices on average. You're not necessarily "evil" or "immoral". It's meant to be morally dubious.

I'd say that comes down to personal motivations - you have to ask why you chose Destroy in the first place.

So you're a genocidal maniac with a huge god complex, but it looks like you're not good with genetics ...

You've tried to convince yourself otherwise but your subconscious knows the only worthwhile ending is Destroy.

Its the least offensive choice because it accomplishes a goal that was set during the first game, and the second. Exterminate the Reapers.

The other choices... do NOT accomplish Shepard's mission.

Anyone would go insane playing that stupid ending that many times. :P

I still got  few more to import from ME2. Probably start another olaythrough in a few weeks.

There is a bit of genocidal maniac in all of us. Don't deny it, embrace it.

I'd rather kill off a few species than turn everybody into green glowing abominations against their will. But control is still the best ending, because the galaxy is Reaper-God-King-Shepard's plaything.

I always pick Control. I haven't done nearly as many playthroughs as you have, however.

destroying the geth is not genocide, and no amount of fan whining will change that fact

Your xenophobia doesn't make it not genocide, no matter how much hyper-cynical whining you spew onto the forums.

LOL. I stand by my choice picking destroy, but it clearly is genocide.

When I have a Shepard who I plan to pick Destroy with I just kill them on Rannoch.

Is it genocide to shoot the tube if the Destroy wave hits a debris field over Rannoch? EDI is the only non-Reaper death resulting from it.

Serious question:

Is part of it perhaps being blinded to the genocide because you just want the satisfaction of blowing that condescending little Catalyst snot bag to hell?

Genocide of the Reapers.

You didn't.  You made a tough call, possibly the toughest call.  But it was a good call.  It was the right call.

Garrus:  the ruthless calculus of war.  Let millions die, so billions can survive.

James:  You told me once.. the right choice ain't always the easy one.  If you'd saved them all, would things have worked out better?

Anderson:  You did good, son.  I'm... proud of you.

Genocide on the reapers, hell yeah, and proud of it.

The rest is collateral damage, and no more genocide than Arrival was.

For me it is. For OP - I don't know.
