Their more recent releases are great too: "IV", "The Oracle" and their accustic Ep, "The Other Side". All great hard-rock, metal records which worth buying if you dig Godsmack and this kind of music in general. Sully Erna (singer) has also releasead a solo album, which is something completely different, but still great, "Avalon". Check them out on Youtube!

Now this is really off topic... though it's still better than telling each other to f.ck off or to kill ourselves over subjective differences of personal taste regarding a game's story and ending.

I think about Mass Effect like a dead relative; it comes to mind every now & then and I sigh wistfully over the good times before the twinge of pain hits. I love the series - I've never immersed my time, thoughts, and money more into any game or work of fiction EVER - but you can't blind yourself to the faults. And that ending is one hell of a fault, holy sh!t, and the fact that I'm *depressed* over that is a tribute to the high points of the series.

No they killed it and now they want to beat it into powder by releasing a new game when they still haven't bothered fixing this one. And no the ec did fix anything it is just the same crap just more drawn out and they had the nerve to say head canon ur ending I didn't pay them to imagine an ending they lied and stole and I'm still not happy about the supposed good faith gesture they released the ec is just a slap in the face and people are still complain should tell bw that they messed up big time and fix it

I have always liked this band.

Oh I've been loving them since like... forever. I own all of their records and dvds, so I'm kind of a fan (though they are not my ultimate favorite band), but the bastards avoid Europe for some wacky reason, so I couldn't check them out live yet. Maybe when I visit my friend in the US, he leaves quite close to Seattle...

Oh I doubt I'll be dissapointed, even if they change their style I always go into new albums by bands with an open mind.

The endings are, obviously, still a big deal to people and this is where they will discuss that.

Why? Different things matter to different people. Its not like it consumes their lives, but many people have been coming on here for years and its kind of force of habit more than anything else, and they have (had a love for the series). For many fans the ending is still the first thing they think of when they think of ME3 now, so of course they are going to discuss it.

It's when it breaks down into name calling (on both sides, not just one) that it gets pathetic.

I love the endings (exclusively with EC and Leviathan), but no: they are not a minority. They are a significant group of people in the hard core fan base and even though it can be tiresome at times to read the same suff about disappointment over and over here, they are still entitled to their opinion and have all the right to express it here in a civil manner. 

And it was never about being sane or intelligent. People who love the ending and people who hate the ending come from very different places regarding their opinion. Even those who like the ending like it for slightly different reasons. It's all based on personal tastes, views on the World and life in general, life experiences, religious views, core values, personality, culture and coutry of origin etc.. 

It's not that hard to understand their reasons, even if I personally happen to disagree with them. What I don't like is that someone questions my level of intelligence for my opinion or who desperately wants to prove me wrong and convince me, especially if it happens in an aggressive manner... that makes me aggresive and arrogant too. 

Though sometimes I find some people's reactions to the ending and their level of immersion a bit over the top.
