incendiary
Is there data available for a comparison between the two?

personally, i don't want to use the same "overpowered" weapons on every character (claymore, reegar, harrier, talon, etc.) It's boring. i try to distribute the weapons i have, and i try to be as "lore-friendly" as i can, so i give asari weapons to asari, krogan weapons to krogan, etc. BSN says discipline sucks...i like it on my asari sentinel with a HVB + whatever mod. she goes bio-boom-boom anyway. if i want to use weapon, i play other classes.

And not the most OP ? Are you kidding ? That video makes a Claymore GI look like a Batarian Sentinel with an Eagle ... While being A LOT easier to play.

You're lore friendliness might pay off for your Asari Sentinel tomorrow(?).
I think the problem is that your original post was worded in a way that makes it look like you despise the build already. You know, like "this is a build for n00bs that can't play the game". Should you have written only "I am surprised I don't see this build more often (link to vid)", there wouldn't be half the posts this thread has stating that people "are playing for fun and not for OP builds".Feneckus wrote...
Is it elitism to think that most PUGs are bad at this game ? I think that's just a fact.

Ah, your passive aggressive elitism is almost on Gamemako's level. A for effort.
She's also not the most OP in terms of bleed plus detonation.

By the way, is the Pierce rank 6 evolution on Warp really necessary? If you're stacking 2 armor piercing mods on a weapon you'll already reach 100% armor negation, making the 25% armor weakening redundant.

On-topic : thanks for the build idea, I am currently looking for an Asari Valkyrie build since I unlocked her last nightHowever, the Reegar's weight + Tech Armor + your passive tree's choices put Warp's cooldown to 4.21s which is kinda big. Don't know if a better CD is required for this character as I've never played her but on paper it's definitely weird.

I'm the same, I actually have different weapons for every character that I play, I have almost no overlap, so each character plays and feels totally differently. Not so much for lore though, I do it for variety and because I don't want to use the same few weapons over and over.
They don't have to have race specific weapons because I don't think that is more lore friendly. You don't actually think that in the huge mixed up ME universe that all Asari only fight with Asari weapons, or Humans only use Human guns? I'm not saying this to put down your choices, but you could give an Asari a Krogan weapon because your 'lore-story' for your character has her as an Asari who has taken a Krogan mate. If Asari can mate with a Krogan they would certainly be up for shooting one of there guns.
Doesn't Warp rounds give you the most bonus against armors?peddroelmz wrote...

The Dark powers of Warp + incendiary ...
You need to use max consumables though, and many people are unwilling to do that in PUGs.
Incendiary ammo III or IV is all that is mandatory .. Rest of them are optional//flavor ...

Eh, to be honest I haven't used her much. Probably should.I'm quite fond of using the GI with a Raider and Drill Ammo 3.chipsandwich wrote...
On that note, why don't we see more
Harrier GI or Raider GI? The only people I've seen playing those classes
are ISHYGDDT and Lord_Sirian, respectively.

Also a Warp cast has the additional bonus with Warp ammo.

Yes, it's necessary.
There's also no such thing as 100% armor negation, unless the Fagnan was wrong.

Thanks for the tips and clarifications ! I already use Warp for debuff on my Turian Sentinel but I always found a good cooldown was interesting in combination to other's effects (biotics, ammo effects, etc...).megabeast37215 wrote...
Here is all you need to know:
She is NOT the Fury.
She is NOT all about making a ton of Biotic Explosions.
She is all about Destroying things with her weapon, which is easy because Warp and AF can be specced for debuff. She also suppliments said weapon damage, with a biotic explosion here or there.
By the time you hit something with Warp and dump a full clip in their face, then reload... Warp will be ready again.
OK, good to know, thanksFeneckus wrote...
If you want a fast cooldown so you can detonate stuff you'd be better off with a Fury.
The
Valkyrie might be the best boss killer in the game, so carry a high-DPS
gun (Reegar, Raider, Piranha, Hurricane, Harrier ...) + incendiary/warp
ammo and make bosses your priority.

I don't think that's right. Can you link me to where Eric wrote about this? All I've seen from Eric and other posters would indicate that once you get 100% armor shredding you are negating the full 50 damage reduction offered by armor on Gold.

It'd be hard to dig through, but he pretty clearly stated both power/passive DR and Armor reduction should not ->intentionally<- exceed 90% on either side.
