  I know it was just a small detail, but being able to wield a sword made from Superman's own starship was one of the funniest meta-things in DA:O, and I loved the fact that my Warden had a sword that "the world has possibly never seen its like, ore ever will again". 

I know its model has been re-used for DA2, but I'm talking about finding the true Starfang, the one that came from space, perhaps with a codex entry to justify its presence outside of the Warden's properties. Is there a small chance to see this happen?

I prefer Topsiders Honor anyway. My Wardens sword  

If they were to have any "legendary" sword return it would probably be Vigilance.

Unlikely. Vigilance is the more prominent legendary sword. If one gets back, it's this one.

We will arrive at a great lake in DAI and then a lady will arise and give us Vigilance back.

Why is any weapon more likely over another? Even in our much lauded and worshiped DAO weapons like these didn't truly get "screen time"... we just acquired them. Sure Vigilance had a scavenger hunt attached, but it wasn't like "Oooo! Everyone stop and look!" It was just a thing. So why couldn't any weapon appear if BioWare so wished?

Well Vigilance had an epilogue slide.. so I'd imagine there is a good chance it will appear again especially if we travel around Thedas like it appears we will in Inquisition, since it was stolen by the Crows then 'lost'.

However I wouldn't mind seeing Starfang again. I liked the uniqueness of it and Vigilance.

Starfang was awesome but I doubt we will get it back

I would actually rather have the new main character create their own signature weapon, one that has different versions for each class. The main reason I loved items like Vigilance and Starfang was because they felt like they were trophies of the Warden.

No, this time the weapon will be fragments of an ornate hammer. Lying beside the hammer would be a crazy blonde dude who attacks the party and is promptly slaughtered. The PC then reforges the metal fragments into a weapon fitting his playstyle.

I'd prefer to see vigilance coming back since it was said to move from wielder to wielder.

Fact is, Starfang was made with pieces of Superman's starship. Superman's freakin starship. Now I understand that swords like Vigilance or even the Topsider Honor have a far larger part in the Dragon Age lore (especially Vigilance) but guys... seriously. Superman.

I'd just like the option to quest for truly useful weaponry, armor, and items in game instead of on Xbox market place. I've precious few gripes about DA2 compared to DA:O but this is chief amongst them.

I just want another weapon, made personally for and named by me. That would make my day. More like Vigilance though. I want influence over the stats.
Note: I am not supporting the return of a legendary weapon, though that would be pretty cool. I would prefer a new one.

They did basically that, in a smaller scale, with Mass Effect 3, bringing back every single bit of "special" gear from ME2.
