I disagree with the OP completely. The Batarian Brawler, Krogan Shaman and Geth Trooper are incredibly fun to play.

Krogan Shaman, Geth Trooper, Vorcha Hunter, Batarian Brawler... dunno what else they added.
None of these characters bring anything new or interesting to the game, they're just copy&paste charmodels and skills that already exist in the game.
Even worse, you'll have to waste a HUUGE amount of time and credits to unlock their character appearances which just isn't fun.
Does anyone actually think "Yay, finally I get to customize my appearance some more"?
I'd think not, it's a huge waste and I'd rather get a lvl 1 consumable than those useless character cards.

So either stop adding more and more of these boring characters or even better just get rid of the customization/XP cards, nobody cares about those anyway.

Stop flooding us with stupid threads

Except the Vorcha. He just plain sucks.

Not really.. I use the Valkyrie, Raider and Harrier... the Piranah, typhoon and acolyte are curiosities for me mostly.

For all you know, the OP might be paying real $ for packs. If that's the case, he has every right to complain.

The new characters ARE cut-and-paste jobs. Obviously, a relatively low amount of effort was expended on creating them. New character designs take time and $ to produce.

I do think it's kind of weird that they're releasing these characters once per week, as if each new character release is a big event, but then their powers are messed up and they obviously weren't tested very well.

The impression I get is not a lot of work is being put into these "new" characters. Therefore, I won't put in the effort to take out my wallet and pay for them.

Op, speak for yourself but don't you dare speak for anyone else. You don't like them?..... fine, you don't have to!!! But stop whining and whinging like you are the only one who matters. Get back into your playpen, child and leave the forum to the grown-ups!!

Yes, making a single thread about game content = whining and whining like a child.
Your post on the other hand is extremely construcive and how grown-ups should behave.

You telling them to stop the characters and cards because you don't want them is not childish at all? Please, you sound like a 2 year old throwing a tantrum. You can say that you do not want them, fine. You could say that you'd prefer not to get the cards, fine. But demanding they stop releasing them because you find them boring...... that is the epitome of childishness right there.

Ok, next time they should make DLC cost so you´d stop complaining since complaining about free stuff is like complaining about someone breathing air.

Batarian vangaurd is an absolute monster. So glad they released him.
The other ones released did not interest me enough to warrant more than 1 game with, will try them out after finishing theese 200 wave grinds.

We are all so sorry that some of us BSNers and BW devs see certain combos of powers and races that would be cool to try out and we are so sorry for adding a large amount of content that brings people back for an extended period.

Hopefully next time they decide to expand the multiplayer with an upgraded challenge system, clans, new maps, and new factions. They'll scrap all of that and make some new classes with pretty ball dresses and all new powers. (Because they obviously didn't do alot of work with this last DLC)

-----------------

Congratulations. For speaking for everyone. I bet you can't even tell your in the minority can you? The hype surrounding the next release is proof of that.

Technically it's not free, you still need ingame credits or cash to buy them. More like earn or something. I hate that store sometimes.

The 4 original character's had some very nice new skills.

The volus had recon mine, shield boost and biotic orbs and the turians gave us stim packs and havoc strike. At least there were some new moves :P

Can you block topicstarter from getting all new characters?

I think I already have most of them anyway, but please do block me from getting any more XP cards, I'd appreciate it.

They already did that.

Play more, cry less, in no time you will have all unlocked, and won't have issues anymore..

eeeeh, sorry, I like the new characters, and I don't really care about getting character cards, since it's really fast, 5 or 6 PSP you got everything. I have lv1 consumable stock in my inventory, too many of them, so no, I don't want lv 1 anymore. and I do go" yay" because I can customize my appearence more. In a word, I dont' agree, and I have no problem with them adding new characters

Yeah I actually like the Volus and turians, at least there are some new skins/abilities there.
My issue is just with the 100% recycled ones and with their five (?) XP/customization cards that you need to unlock per characters.
That's just a huge amount of time that you have to invest for something that is just completely useless.

Dissapointing FOR YOU. I like the new characters, I like to have different mix of the abilities. Plus, for god sake, it's 16 new chars in one FREE DLC, when most games charge for a DLC with a single character.

plus, Turian with jetpack, your argument is invalid.

Dafuq are you talking about?

Only the Vorcha's net is screwed.

He has the right to complain, he doesn't have the right to demand. Real money or not, no one told him to spend real cash, thats just laziness on the players part. If he did pay for it, that just makes his case more hilarious, its like paying to cheap by having someone else write your term paper, only for them to do a mediorce at best job, when he couldve done it for free.

So what if they are cut and paste? Nothing wrong with using the powers we have no in different combinations. Some of these classes have been asked for since day 1.

None of these characters bring anything new or interesting to the game, they're just copy&paste charmodels and skills that already exist in the game.

New powers are added (some moving to new classes), new setups are added (and with them new ways of thinking and playing), new niches are filled (GT gave us a weapon-heavy character who has a badass flamethrower. No other class has this combination). More life is added to the game, as well as more things for the maxed out players to get.

Even worse, you'll have to waste a HUUGE amount of time and credits to unlock their character appearances which just isn't fun.

And getting everything unlocked within the first few packs is? What effect will that have on the games longevity?

Does anyone actually think "Yay, finally I get to customize my appearance some more"?

Yes. I for one, my group of friends for others. You're speaking as though you are the community, and you clearly aren't.

I'd think not, it's a huge waste and I'd rather get a lvl 1 consumable than those useless character cards.

Good for you, buy an equipment pack or recruit pack instead then. Then you get some stuff that only lasts for one mission and has virtually no use other than to collect dust.

So either stop adding more and more of these boring characters or even better just get rid of the customization/XP cards, nobody cares about those anyway.

Again, speaking for the community. You don't have the privelige to speak for the community, unless of course you go and get a survey with the opinion of EVERY player of ME3 Multiplayer, not just on the forums, not just from your friends list. Stop speaking on other people's behalf.

Bioware put the system in place to make the game last longer, as well as make you actually get something out of recieving repeat cards. The alternative with this unlock system is to give you nothing for a repeat and just let you whine as you recieve the same card over and over again. You'll stop getting characters once you finish getting all the stuff for them, and then the game gets even more boring. Unless you find that getting 1-use consumables is more fun than unlocking something that gives you some form of customization.

the problem I have with your logic OP is that the new characters are not C&P kits. Yes they all have reused powers but each of them are developed in a way that they are not played the same way as similar kits.

The Fury vs valkyrie is a good example- while both have the AF + detonator (throw/warp respectively) if you play them to their max potential both perform very differently. The fury is more of a hit and run character detonating explosions very quickly while the valkyrie is a more tankish style staying in close quarters and utilizing/providing a massive debuff(well combination of debuffs) to take down larger mobs.

Even the Brawler vs other Batarians can be played very differently. The addition of Biotic Charge in their kits allow them to be an open field combatant while the soldier/sentinel need cover to last through skirmishes.

The geth soldier is probably the best example of bring alot to the table that wasnt there before. This is probably one of the highest damage character for AOE with a maxed power damage spec + flamer. Or you can forgo flamer and make him a very mobile/durable heavy weapon platform. Heck I would even consider the geth soldier a better CQC when comparing it to the Destroyer, which I may not be up to date with but was the highest played soldier not to long ago.

Yes it would have been nice to get some new artwork/skills but to say these kits are unoriginal or retreads is alittle silly when their kits force very different play styles (and force may not be the best word but their efficiency is obtained through different tactics)

And if you want to look ahead at soon to be released kits the remaining 2 infiltrators- asari and drell are going to be unique compared to current kits. The Asari is going to be played differently then any other biotic and the drell will move to being the best at providing support/debuffs of the infiltrators.

Now if we look at the vorcha engineer.... yeah that one is a mind boogler, maybe it was a poorly designed character or maybe we just havent found its true intended niche but despite the communities comments about not alot of thought being put into these kits I would have to strongly disagree..

You criticize someone for paying real $ for content, while they're the reason that you enjoy free content.  God you're ignorant.  And for the record, Blade Armor on the Batarian is broken.  That's what I'm talking about.  Don't blame me because YOU aren't aware of the issues in the game.
