Anyone know how much impact the donations you make while in camp imact the various armies available to you for the final battle? Do the donations increase the size of the relevant army? Increase individual troop strength? Has anyone worked out the formula (or rough proximity thereof) for these donations?
Impact of donations on army strength?

The only discernible difference I could tell was that I got a small bit of experience points each time I donated something. The armies at the end still had the same numbers and weren't any better/worse. Ie my first play through I didn't know that you could donate anything to the armies, and on my second play through, after donating what seemed like a ton of runes and reagents, I still got the same set up for each of the army types.

Your armies are plenty tough as it is. I hardly lost any troops during the Final Onslaught... even against the Archdemon.

Yeah, but getting XP doesn't.
(Btw, this thread is a medical miracle.)

Spell Might + Animate Dead is a helluva spell combination.
And, yeah, at best donations are useful for getting those last few experience points needed to level up, if one's returned to camp just shy of the next level.
