I don't know if this idea's already come up at some point, but I wish that we could unlock a sort of "blank-slate" character slot for each class.  We'd be able to pick that character's class, which would determine the first skill (Biotic Charge for Vanguards, Tech Armor for Sentinals, etc.) and race, which would give you a pool of abilities that you could pick your other two from.

Does anyone else think that this is a cool idea?

I really really like this idea, BUT, it would be VERY hard to implement I think. That being said, I would like an asari sentinel with tech armor, snap freeze, energy drain and an omni-shield. Lots of fun to be had.
