Still trying to get my head around the sheer number of time exclusive content in this game and trying to justify myself buying the DLC's and even playing the game.

I see that the high lords belt is now no longer available?

How do I get this item, or is it the case now I would pay for the DLC but not get this content?

Also EA's answer HQ site doesnt even work, cant sign in or register there the links do nothing.

Also dragon age 2 profile sync fails.

does anything work?

So if I understand you right, you're upset that a promo item tied to a DLC was timed and you won't get it, thus robbing you of DLC content? It's one item out of many, and not even particulary remarkable. Not even part of the DLC. It's like a cup of coffee you would get while buying a car.

I bought Both major dlcs 2 weeks ago and finished them yesterday. Buy them . they are worth every penny. They are fantastic and improve on the basic game on every way possible. both of them took me 15 hours. My DA2 (with both Dlcs) took me 103 hours for a comparison

ok did you get the items unlocked?

and yes Forst1999 since I have gamed from the early 90s I know the difference between good and bad practices, time exclusive unlocking parts of the game is not moral but people have been fooled by it thinking they getting something free when all they doing is unlocking something removed.

If they discount the DLC to compensate for loss of content fair enough.

Is there another item exactly the same in the game? if not I want these items.

Also I cant connect to EA servers whilst in the DA2 demo so that item I cant get either.  Why cant they just have all items available in game from day 1 and have no exclusives?

Without getting into the discussion of whether DLC is fair or not...

You are right that the Lord's High Belt was one of 3 unlockable items that were tied to getting one of any achievements connected with Mark of the Assassin, Legacy, or the Exiled Prince by a specific date.

These three items are no longer obtainable, you are right.

If you're having profile sync issues, please do search for answers or ask questions in the technical help forum. I do not play DA2 on an Xbox 360, so I am not sure how to help you. Sorry.
