This is a thread for funnies and lulz.

ITT we come up with alternate endings that got cut at the last minute.

My contributions:

Endorsement: Requires max paragon points. Shepard convinces the Catalyst to stop reaping everyone in exchange for a ringing endorsement: "I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favourite AI on the Citadel!"

Apocalypse: Shepard shoots the capacitors while he jumps into the beam. All life in the galaxy is eradicated.

Anderson: Shepard throws Anderson's body into the beam. Identical to Synthesis, except that all life was now born in London.

Indoctrination: Shepard becomes aware of the Indoctrination Theory, declares the world around him to be a dream, and shoots himself in the head to escape. He then falls into limbo, but eventually escapes with Cobb and Saito. The three then each agree to trigger a different ending at the same time, causing the Catalyst to overload and shut down. The reapers are defeated, but Shepard never fully recovers from his trip and ends up committing suicide in a misguided attempt to wake up.

Investigate: Shepard abuses the dialogue wheel, asking the same questions over and over, distracting the Crucible so that Hackett's forces can destroy all the reapers.

That should be enough to get the ball rolling, let's hear your own ideas!

Dinosaurs ending. The crucibel traps all Reapers and Shepard into a time-portal where they land on the earth when Dinsosaurs walked the earth. Shepard continues to fight Reapers with the help of Tyranosaurus Wrex, who once helped save the mammals from the Reaperinvasion. To be continued... In ME4

Shepard breaks the 4th wall, looks directly toward the camera and goes ...and then John was a zombie, turns into a husk and knocks over the camera. The end.

shepard listended to the words of the catalyst carefully and said:

"are you kidding me? .. you want me to put 1.21 jiggawatts through my body to "upload" my mind into a machine?"

"ahm .. i would not have put it that bluntly - but yeah .. but it works!" answered the catalyst

shepard smirks: "what happens, if i just shoot the rods - that will only affect the reapers right?"

catalyst puzzled: " yeah right, .. ahm .. i mean. no! NO!! .. you have to touch them to make it work. it is beyond your comprehension - do it."

shepard: "i dont by it."

shepard moves to the control rods and fires the whole clip of the carnifex into the blue cracling machine, that powers down within seconds.

while looking out at the sky, the reapers are shutting down one by one and are ripped apart by naval artillery fire.

shepard gets a cigar out of a burnt armor compartment, lits it and says with self-content: "did that thing really think, that i buy that stuff for even one second? countless millenia old and fails due to simple logic."

shep takes a pull on the cigar

"shepard to normandy ... mission accomplished. i need evac and a fresh armor. - out"

As Shepard begins to move towards the crucible the platform rises once more. This time with the little boy he saw in the vent, holding an axe. He looks at the Catalyst.

"You Stole My LINES"!!!

Shepard enters the Crucible and encounters the "Catalyst", the reaper leader. Shepard, warning that The Illusive Man plans to conquer both Earth and the galaxy, offers to stop TIM in exchange for peace with the Reapers. The Catalyst agrees, and the Reapers stop attacking the galaxy...

...Oh wait.

Ashley rose on the platform, emerging into the crucible chamber and gaped at what she saw.

When she got the message from Shepard that he had found a way to settle things with the Reapers she, and the entire fleet had felt that things were finally taking a turn for the better. The announcement that Shepard was going to duel Harbinger quickly put paid to that sentiment.

The Stakes were simple. If Shepard won, the Catalyst would destroy the object's of his solution. If Harbinger won, Shepard would have to choose how to use the crucible. Everyone's nerves were on edge as Shepard and Harbinger stood facing each other in the chamber. The latter squeezing himself into as small a ball as possible to avoid hitting the ceiling.

Spotting Kaiden sitting on a deckchair amoungst a crowd of allies, she wandered over.

"Hey Kaiden. How do you like being, not dead?"

"Same old, same old. How about you"?

"To be honest, it's only weird when I talk to you".

The crowd suddenly hushed as Shepard stood up straighter and moved his hand closer to his other forearm. The crowd leaned forward.

"I DRAW"!!! Shepard roared. Pulling a card from his deck and looking to see what he had. "I play....... Kroguard! With this monster I can............"

Ashley zoned out of what he was saying and turned back to Kaiden. "As much as I liked the idea of Shepard and Harbinger in a duel........ This wasn't what I had in mind".

Kaiden nodded. "This fan mod is the strangest one so far."

"Has Shepard won any yet"?

Kaiden checked his Omnitool. "37 playthrough's and each time Harbinger plays the Catalyst if he or Shepard are about to run out of life points. In fact......."

Ashley looked up and saw the Catalyst suddenly appear on Harbinger's field. Looking miffed. Shepard pulled off his duel disk, threw it to the ground, stomped on it and walked off.

Kaiden sagged in his seat. "Yep, he refused to play, again".
