A likely tale... No, I do not know of any character editor or cheats, and even if I did, I wouldn't subject you to such knowledge.
Please have sympathy toward a fellow human who lost all Saves files from Dragon age 1. can you also dual class in Dragon age 2 ? game console cheats are available for all. but can it edit the strenghth, dex, constitution permanently ?

Go and play dragon age the honest way, this cheating isn't for you.
Also yes Dragon age 2 had a duel wield class for rogues.

Use a trainer or cheat engine. To each his own in my opinion, and through console commands you can dual class.
How do you use the console commands to dual class ? and do you know any trainer or cheat engine link that is easy to use?

I don't understand? Are you looking for a premade Hawke...or are you looking for a character save from Origins to import? There are several saved Wardens to be found on DANexus and there was a mod that someone made that you can enter all the information pertinent to the import for games, such as who rules Ferelden, who was romanced, did you kill Connor, save the Circle, kill the Dalish etc. Barring that there are three options when you make a new character in DA2 to use for importation.
Yes, I saw that mod where you can edit the character as you mentioned. I made a character and it does not appear in DA2 when I say import character. where did it go ? and can I change the character score like Dex, strength, con in this character too ?

Janiceps, you can't play as a Warden in DA2. You will always play Hawke. The import is simply to let the game know what type of Warden you had for the sake of certain references in game, and to let the game know what plot flags you have.

I'm surprised you haven't heard my views on mods, sylvius
Maker knows I've been very vocal with my support for their abolishment on these forums for over a year now.But to answer your question, I don't really have a problem with fashion mods or armor/wep mods whose only purpose is to look nice. I do however have a major issue with mods that allow people to modify and add their own stats to wep/armor/acc/char/ect.

If you want to import an created DA:O character into DA2, you need to place the DA:O save in the DA:O save folder, otherwise DA2 won't recognize it. There is no point in changing character scores in the DA:O file, since only your decisions will impact DA2.

I am always astonished at how what happens in another person's single player game manages to so grievously offend some players.

Why would that be an issue?

When those same people are presenting feedback on the pro & cons of the game, contributing to future design choices, you betcha.

Why? More importatly, how does that justify the "abolishment" of mods that outright improve the game in dozens of ways?

...ok. So people who play at unbalanced difficulty levels in Mass Effect (Casual, Narrative, and Insanity) shouldn't be allowed to express their opinions either?
Most feedback here on the forums tends to be about story and characters anyway. And it's not like the devs listen to precisely what we say anyway. They tend to more have their finger on the general pulse of the fandom, and since mods are only used by a portion of the PC community, and only some mods change mechanics significantly, I doubt it'll really skew their future game design.
