I'd love a Holiday themed event though, wonder how Holiday in war time looks... also the future.

Thanksgiving and Christmas, and New Year :D

But with Commendation Packs, so players are more motivated to make the challenges

Maybe it'd be better to skip that. Not saying it's not and important holiday to the Americans, but it isn't exactly top of the list for the rest of the world. Be a bit more considerate of everyone else.

Also, I hope Bioware doesn't do a Christmas event. I would prefer them to call it a Holiday Season event, simply because there are other religions with holidays around that time. It's more tactful. That said, a New Year's event is fine, given they don't do it at midnight only...

Well, up here in Canada we had Thanksgiving over a month ago, and considering a Canadian company didn't do anything special for it, I doubt anything will be happening for American Thanksgiving. There will almost certainly be something for Christmas, though, considering how that's a fairly universal holiday.

The other thread wasn't good enough for this, you wanting it really needed a whole new thread?

I don't want one. I'll be out of town, no access to Xbox. If I can't complete a challenge, my inner completionist will go mad.

Pfft, everyone knows that American Holidays are the only holidays that matter. ;)

Also, in questioning the title, why would I hold my left strafe key to carve a turkey?

Okay...sorry if I offended, I didn't mean to come across as harsh or rude. Could you inform me as to how I upset you?

Just don't stand between a Krogan, and the bird. You'd get less injured by a room full of Scions. :P

I agree, though I'd be surprised if they did a New Year one as everyone is on holiday then, even the Internet is slow around that time, so unless it's just one really long holiday event I doubt New Year will get one specifically.

But yeah OP, they never did anything for the 5th of November so I doubt they'd do anything for Thanksgiving.

Yeah, let's go back in time for a Thanksgiving event!!

Canadian company. As fun as it is to bow to the American playerbase...not likely.

I'll celebrate anything. Thanksgiving either version, queen's birthday, dia de los muertos, eid-al-fitr, Chinese new year -- sign me up.

Event is for Slayer/Shadow only. Boss is designated as "The Turkey", 10,000,000 melee only points nets you "The Gobbler" Lobby Badge.

Why? He pointed out a set of reasonable reasons that an event themed around Thanksgiving or Christmas isn't a good idea. Don't be a dick about it for no damned reason. Provide a reasonable set of reasons that he's wrong or shut the **** up.

Ask your self this;

Does a Canadian company wish to please the vast majority of its player base? Yes, I am refering to the center of the universe. America!  FFF Yeah!!!
